During Ash Ketchum's travels throughout the Alola Region, he encounters a strange, nebulous Pokémon known as Cosmog. Perhaps due to its peculiar nature, he never officially catches this Pokémon, instead allowing it to accompany him and his friends from that point on.
Noctowl is the first Shiny Pokémon seen in the anime, although it is not the first alternately colored Pokémon to appear. It is also the first Shiny Pokémon to be owned by a main character and the only Shiny Pokémon owned by Ash.
Technically, Ash never caught any legendary pokemon but he came close to several legendaries who were emotionally attached to him. Some of them being Suicune, Azel, Solgaleo, Tapu Kuku and Reshiram. Also our boy has caught pokemons of other categories like Mythical and Ultra beast, i.e, Melmetal and Naganadel.
At the end of Pokemon Heroes, Ash gets kissed by a Latias disguised as a girl, and that's not even the weirdest part.
Ho-Oh is the first Legendary Pokémon Ash encounters and the first Legendary to appear in the anime series.
Paul. Paul is a trainer from the Sinnoh region and is the most significant rival to Ash throughout the Diamond and Pearl era of the Pokémon anime.
As things stand at the moment, Ash can't hold a candle to Leon. He's perhaps the greatest trainer in the world, and his Gigantamax Charizard will be the most formidable challenge Ash has ever faced.
2 Torkoal. Torkoal was caught in the Hoenn region and is easily the weakest Fire-type Ash has ever owned. A very emotional Pokémon, it would cry tears of joy or sadness depending on the situation. Another Pokémon let down by a pitiful battle record, Torkoal really should have notched a few more wins for Ash.
This age has been confirmed in almost every iteration of the Pokémon anime, and no matter which series he's in, Ash is always 10 years old. Granted, there are still theories as to exactly why this is the case, such as the possibility of eternal youth or the flow of time being slower than real life.
Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie
While our number one spot for the rarest 'mon is technically three Pokemon, that's also part of what makes them so rare. Each one only spawns in specific regions, and they don't show up often at all.
Gengar has a color scheme that is different from others of his species, although he isn't Shiny. However, Gengar's alternate color scheme is closer to how it appears in the core series and its game art in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen.
Ash, Dawn, Brock, and Sheena are transported to the present, only to discover that Arceus is still furious and has defeated Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. Arceus spots Ash and recognizes him due to history's alterations, and reverses the destruction he caused and heals his former adversaries.
In the first episode, Ash spots a Ho-Oh, a legendary pokemon that is thought to grant wishes to those it appears to. In this theory, when Ash spotted the Ho-Oh he wished that he would never stop his pokemon journey. Ipso-facto, Ash never ages and will never be a pokemon master because then his journey would end!
And while Ash has many strong Pokemon, he's released many of his strongest, and many of them are out of practice, while Red's team is regularly in combat and barely changing. So all things considered, Red is the safe bet.
While Ash never did catch a Legendary, his ownership of Melmetal, along with his long-awaited World Champion victory, still places him in the highest tier of trainers seen in the Pokémon anime.
so everyone goes on about how Ash's Kingler is the only Pokemon to never lose a battle well.
1 Pikachu Will Always Be Ash's Closest & Most Loyal Friend
Ash and Pikachu have become one of the closest and most iconic duos in the history of anime.
Ash originally wanted a Squirtle to be his starter Pokémon, but Professor Oak told him it was taken by another Trainer. If Ash wasn't late, I think he and the water Pokémon would've been a good match.
Ash's Meltan and Gengar share a common trait with one another, having a different color scheme compared to that of other members of their species, but are not shiny. Meltan's nut was originally the same color as other Meltan and went back to normal once it evolved into Melmetal.
