While FUT was dominated by the Lengthy meta shortly after launch, many players have been saying Controlled is the best lately. Even after Title Update 9, Explosive is not as good as Lengthy was and not every player does have to be Explosive now.
FIFA 23 lengthy players are a little slow off the mark, but once they get going they can really hoon it – they are tall and strong and incredibly sought after.
FIFA Ultimate Team is the most popular game mode in FIFA 23. Here you start with a bad team which you have to improve by grinding. You can't play licensed teams here, you have to build a team out of licensed players and legends. There are all the players you will find in the kick-off mode, but each as a single card.
However lengthy, which is typically given to tall players, can completely change how a game is played, with speed building up over time. If you can get past the first defender with a lengthy player, you'll build up so much speed that you'll be uncatchable.
Is lengthy or controlled better? Players quickly learned that Lengthy players were much better than Controlled and Explosive players in-game, with the former two feeling extremely slow on the ball when dribbling, even with high dribbling stats.

Is explosive better or controlled? Explosive players slow down, and lengthy layers speed up. > SO - If your playing deep and counter, you want your forwards/wingers to be lengthy first, then controlled, then explosive.
However, due to Lengthy players taking over the meta, the Architect Chemistry Style is extremely popular as well. An Architect is often required to turn a player Lengthy in FIFA 23 thanks to the increase in Physicality it provides.
Cristiano Ronaldo is officially the best finisher in FIFA 23, with the Manchester United attacker handed a shooting attribute rating of 92 in EA Sports' popular video game, which can't be bettered by anyone in the game.
Why, you may ask? Well, it's all to do with FIFA's new AcceleRATE system, which allows certain body archetypes to move and run in different ways than before.
Why is FIFA so laggy? Of those lists, what can cause lag and frame drops are the processor, memory and the video card for the graphics. If you don't have the necessary hardware, it will be almost impossible to play the game without any problems.
This means that players with the Explosive type will excel in one on ones, or quick line breaking runs. Lengthy AcceleRATE type almost works in the opposite way to Explosive, where players start their run on the slower side, but dramatically build up to a pace far beyond what their stats might suggest.
Strength must be 65 or higher. Acceleration must be 55 or higher. The Strength score must be at least 14 points higher than the Agility score. Height must be 174 cm or higher.
