In 1970 the level of health had improved rapidly due to balanced diets and a better understanding of medicine. This saw the bra size average rise slightly from a B cup to a C cup, but stay steadily at a 34 inch bust.
The boobs kept on growing into the 1980s, when the average bra size was a 34D.

But the largest cup size available in the US is an N cup – not a 102 zzz as you may find online. This is a hypothetical bra sizing – more on this later. Again, there is no absolute measurement for the N Cup and it is again measured by the difference between the band size, and bust measurement.
Size 14 is not a plus size. It is the size of the average Australian woman.
13 - 14 year old girls: Breasts become slightly larger during this stage as the glandular breast tissue develops. Average cup size: B cup. 14 - 15 year old girls: The areola and the nipple become increasingly raised, forming a distinct mound above the rest of the breast. Average cup size: C cup.
The transition through menopause may cause several changes to the breasts, potentially affecting their shape, sagginess and texture. They might even noticeably increase in size, with many women going up by two bra sizes or more.
