With standard sizing, you can expect a 32C and a 32D to be bracketed together as a Small, a 34C and a 34D to both be Medium, a 36C and 36D to equate a Large, and so on, up through the fit range.
While it's really difficult to precisely determine the standard breast size in the U.S. (or anywhere in the world, for that matter), we do know that the average breast size in America is a 34DD.
More generally, men and women prefer bigger cup sizes, namely C, D, and DD. Over six out of ten women (60.4%) said that their ideal bust size is a C cup, compared with just over one in two men (53.6%). Overall, this mid-sized cup is popular with both men and women, in both Europe and the US.

American and British women came out fourth and fifth overall, having size C breasts. And Australian women ranked 20th globally with size B breasts on average.

When it comes to the band size, a 32B is considered a small band size. The number 32 represents the measurement around the ribcage, which in this case is 32 inches.
Is 38C Medium Or Large? There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on a number of factors, including the person's own preferences and body type. However, in general, a size 38C would be considered to be on the larger end of medium-sized breasts.
Is C Cup Big or Small? Contrary to popular belief, a C cup is not a large size. It is the most common size among women who have breast augmentation or breast implants. Having a larger chest isn't ideal for women since it can affect their posture and cause shoulder and back pain.
Measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust. Subtract the band size from this measurement. Use this number to determine your cup size according to the table below. Example: if your ribcage measurement is 31, and your bust measurement is 37, your bra size is a 34C: 31+3=34, so 34 is your band size.

DDD is most commonly used in the US, and converts to an E or F cup in UK sizes – one size up from DD.
