Nobody (2021) - Colin Salmon as The Barber - IMDb.
Hutch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk) is a seemingly ordinary man; he has two children with his wife Becca (Connie Nielson), has an unremarkable job as an office worker in his father-in-law Eddie's (Michael Ironside) metal fabrication company, and generally keeps to himself.
Hutch hides his family, kills the attackers, and reveals he is a former "auditor" -- an assassin employed by intelligence agencies. While employed as an auditor Hutch set a target free, who reformed and lived happily with a new family. Wanting a similar life, Hutch retired.
There is a bonus scene during the credits in which Hutch's dad David (Christopher Lloyd) and his brother Harry (RZA), are driving in a camper van loaded with weapons.
RZA as Harry Mansell
Also joining the fight, Hutch's half-brother, Harry, is played by RZA. Though principally a musician, RZA has often branched out into movies and television. His credits include appearances in varied movies such as A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas, G.I.
The tattoo on Hutch's wrist, a Seven of Spades and a Two of Diamonds, is statistically the worst possible starting hand you can be dealt in Texas Hold 'Em, since they are the lowest two cards that cannot make a straight (there are four cards between 2 and 7), and both of them are off-suit.
As they said, the combination 7-2 is the worst possible hand in poker. However, the interpretation of this is not vague but actually very precise, supported by another thing the character said in the movie: "[...] I was the last person people would want to see in front of their door."
Both films share the same writer and producer, a Russian villain, similar themes and plot beats, as well as thoughtful world-building, but Nobody is much more than merely a John Wick clone.
But if you're paying attention, you realize that Hutch is holding back his skills. He knew the robber's gun was empty, and he saw they were scared, so he didn't attack.

Nobody 2 release date: When will it be released? There is no official release date confirmed yet for Nobody 2 – however, it's likely we'll see it in cinemas in early 2024, three years after the first movie. Speaking to Collider, producer Kelly McCormick revealed plans for Nobody 2 to enter production in 2023.
Nobody only hints at Hutch's past as its story gets going. In a tattoo shop full of toughs who're about to tear him up, one glimpses a tattoo of playing cards on his wrist, mutters “thank you for your service,” and locks himself in a safe room, leaving his pals to deal with the stranger.
He then walks home to find Becca still awake. She sees him beaten and knows what he's been getting into, as she knows who Hutch used to be. As she patches up his stab wound, he notes to her that they haven't been close in so long, and it's been bothering him.
In the end, Mr. Nobody, at age 118, states that it doesn't matter what we choose, because each choice, once made, has just as much significance as any alternate choice would have.

Nobody Ending Explained: Who Called Hutch And What It Means
At first, it seems to be a moment showing that Hutch has given up his old ways and is firmly committed to his family. But suddenly, their realtor receives two calls back-to-back. Becca encourages her to answer the phone, and it turns out the call is for Hutch.
Amidst all the chaos, Hutch can't resist the urge to steal a valuable artwork piece – Van Gogh's “Bedroom in Arles.” The artwork that Hutch steals is actually one of three versions painted by Vincent Van Gogh.
Auditors employed through the government ensure revenues are received and spent according to laws and regulations. They detect embezzlement and fraud, analyze agency accounting controls, and evaluate risk management. Forensic auditors specialize in crime and are used by law enforcement organizations.
Mr. Nobody is keeping John Wick alive for the majority of the movie simply to make the price on his head increase, but in John Wick: Chapter 4's ending, he lets Wick live for more personal reasons.
However if you drop them both in a crowded area and give them each other as the sole target, 47 would win hands down; he would even make it look like an accident. His skillset as an assassin far outshines John Wick's skillset as a cleaner.
Though there are certainly a ton of options, this symbol has become known as a 'meth recovery tattoo' in some circles, but also more widely represents the perseverance and determination of those who choose abstinence from all substances in the face of great adversity, and we feel the 2% symbol makes a worthy addition ...
The most common is that it represents good luck. This is because the spade is the ace of clubs in a deck of playing cards, and the ace is considered to be the highest-ranking card. As such, many people believe that a black spade tattoo will bring them good fortune in all aspects of their lives.
And when it comes to a car with attitude to match, the casting was picture-perfect: the Dodge Challenger.
