Water. Water is almost always the best drink to reach for. Drinking water can bring so many benefits to the body, including: Flushing the bladder of bacteria.
While we mentioned above some beverages that irritate your bladder, there are also some things you can drink to try to help soothe your bladders, such as plain water, milk, and no-sugar-added cranberry juice. They're also foods you can eat to soothe your bladder and keep it at its healthiest.
A slow or low flow rate may mean there is an obstruction at the bladder neck or in the urethra, an enlarged prostate, or a weak bladder. A fast or high flow rate may mean there are weak muscles around the urethra, or urinary incontinence problems.
Apply heat to your lower abdomen (below your belly button and above the pubic bone). This is where the bladder sits. The heat relaxes muscles and aids urination. Massage or apply light pressure over your bladder to help the bladder empty.

Median 24-hour urine volume was 2.01 L (IQR 1.20–2.73). A 1 L increase in daily water intake was associated with a 710 mL increase in 24-hour urine output (95% CI 0.55–0.87).
First, increasing water intake leads to an increased urine output. This means that urine is diluted, that is, less concentrated in toxic substances. Second, increased urination frequency decreases the duration of urothelial cell exposure to toxic substances.
Lemon water is a diuretic
Water is an effective diuretic, which is a substance that encourages urination. In addition, any food that contains potassium could increase urine output. That includes virtually all fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy products, including lemons.
If you drink 8 oz. of water , it will usually be in your bladder within 20 minutes, so maybe a good idea to plan your void, if your bladder does not warn you. Also there is no health benefit to large volumes of water.
Every woman goes on her own schedule, but generally, peeing 6-8 times in 24 hours is considered normal for someone who is healthy, and isn't pregnant. If you're going more often than that, you may be experiencing frequent urination. Frequent urination can happen on its own and isn't always a sign of a health problem.
Research shows that three to five cups of green tea a day can reduce inflammation in the prostate gland. After a period of study, levels of kappa B, a protein linked with inflammation, were lower in men who had been drinking green tea regularly in comparison to those who had not.
If you're urinating less than normal, this may be because of an underlying condition such as a blockage or narrowing in the urethra, a neurologic condition (like Parkinson's or multiple sclerosis), kidney damage or failure, or a weak bladder.

Other side effects of caffeine intake can include insomnia, headaches, irritability, nervousness, heartburn, indigestion, and frequent urination. Caffeine is a diuretic which means that it results in an increase in frequency of urination. It can also increase the urge to urinate if consumed in excessive amounts.
