For the future focused INFJ a diet like the Mediterranean diet seemed the most popular. This diet focuses on eating heart-healthy foods and encourages users to fill their plates with fruits, veggies, fish and whole grains.
INFJ—Rice and Beans
You believe you can help and change the entire world; however, this goal potentially is probably out of reach. As one who probably wants to feed everyone, you're going to need an inexpensive solution like rice and beans.
They found two personality traits, in particular, to be strongly associated with weight loss (albeit in opposite ways): neuroticism and agreeableness. The participants who were the most neurotic and the least agreeable lost more weight than those who scored lower on neuroticism and higher on agreeableness.
They are hyper-aware of others' body language and remarks.
Due to this reaction, they may withdraw from social interaction, while trying to figure out what others perceive of them. This behavior is also why research suggests that some INFJs are most likely to have an avoidant personality disorder.
INFJs enjoy peaceful work environments where they have the time and space to fully develop their ideas and work out plans. They should favor career choices that point them toward meaningful, humanity-based causes that contribute to others' well-being.
Combined with their deep intuition, ability to listen, and compassion, these personality traits make INFJ individuals highly suitable for careers serving others and humanity at large. For this reason, many INFJ types work as counselors, advocates, and humanitarians.
INFJs can become unhealthy for a variety of reasons: stress, an environment that doesn't nurture their needs, or overuse or repression of specific mental processes. All INFJs go through phases where they are unhealthy (nobody's perfect!), but knowing the warning signs can help you avoid some of these bad behaviors!
INFJs are introverts, and while they cherish meaningful friendships, they have little tolerance for people who don't align with their values. Most INFJs don't want a large circle of friends, and that's okay! However, many INFJs also struggle with feeling lonely due to their small or nonexistent circle of friends.
A greater muscle and fat content characterize the endomorph body type. These people are heavy but not necessarily obese. If you have the endomorph body type, you know it's easy to gain weight but hard to lose it and build muscle. Special diet and workout plans can help you achieve optimum health and fitness.
Ectomorphs. Generally thin and lean, ectomorphs tend to have slender waists, narrow hips and shoulders, small joints, and long legs and arms. They tend to be slim, without much body fat or noticeable muscle mass.
These were later called the Five-Factor Model or the Big Five: Openness to Experience; Conscientiousness; Extraversion; Agreeableness and Neuroticism. Two of these traits are more related to obesity: Neuroticism and Conscientiousness.
INFJ – The Humpback Whale
Peace-loving and known for their complex songs, these animals capture the compassionate, insightful nature of the INFJ.
Exercising alone is helpful, and some INFJs find great solace in nature. Other stress busters include light reading, writing in a journal or meditation.
They're oriented towards others' emotional needs, and in the competitive world of consumers, chances are that INFJs will feel uncomfortable. Some of the other careers that INFJs should avoid are politics, finance, and the military.
You get too distracted to keep an organized workspace
As an INFJ, you're a Judger, meaning you like to keep things organized and clean, and you do! But INFJs also fight their inner world versus the external world, and things can get untidy fast when their inner world wins out.
When INFJs get angry, they're likely to process their feelings through Introverted Thinking before expressing them out loud. For example, imagine that you're an INFJ and you're angry because someone slacked off on a commitment and now you're running late on a deadline for work.
In addition to being highly sensitive (sometimes to an extreme degree), many INFJs also struggle with high amounts of anxiety and depression. A lot of INFJs report that they experience a low-key depression running in the background of their lives, even when it appears that everything is going well on the surface.
Of course, not all INFJs are depressed, and INFJs are certainly not the only Myers-Briggs personality types to struggle with depression. However, due to our sensitive nature, as well as our unique way of seeing the world, it's not uncommon for us INFJs to deal with depression at some point in our lives.
INFJs have one of the highest IQ levels alongside INTP and INTJ with different knowledge measures but stem from one core aspect – intuitive intelligence. Many personalities have a sensing input function, while others have concrete information as a processing function.
The INFJ personality type fits perfectly with personality traits associated with the Cancer zodiac sign. The symbol of Cancer is a crab, and like a crab, INFJs are deeply sensitive and intuitive individuals who prefer to stay inside their shells until they feel emotionally safe.
INFJs are most likely to marry someone who shares their values and vision for the future, regardless of their personality type. INFJs are more likely to marry someone who values emotional depth and intimacy and is dedicated to personal growth and development.
Leaders and curious individuals tend to be most attracted to INFJs. This is so because the INFJ exudes an aura of mystery, and they are often misunderstood, for they are the rarest personality type. As such, many ENTJs find themselves attracted to this personality type.
