In descending order (from most to least attractive), the colors were rated this way: Red, Black, Blue, Green, Yellow, and White. White was the least attractive.
RED VS BLACK: As per Kramer, “Red is traditionally seen as the colour of love, but more recently research has shown that both black and red are perceived as equally attractive and that the two colours may simply increase attractiveness in different ways.”
Some colors stand out, and others blend into the background and we don't notice them quite as much. Red and orange seem to be the clear winner when it comes to eye-catching colors.
Red. It will come as no surprise that red - the color of seduction and passion - is one of the top colors men like to see women wearing. There is plenty of science behind it, too. Red clothes have been scientifically proven to make women appear more attractive to men.
Most scientific studies report that both boys and girls prefer primary colors, chief among them blue. Yet when it comes to pink, girls in the U.S. and Great Britain choose the color significantly more often than their male peers.
On the other hand, since yellow is the most visible color of all the colors, it is the first color that the human eye notices. Use it to get attention, such as a yellow sign with black text, or as an accent. Have you noticed yellow fire engines in some cities?
Sidhu and colleagues found that black and red clothing produced the highest ratings of body attractiveness and slimmer body size judgments. In contrast, grey and green clothes produced the lowest body attractiveness and highest body size assessments.
Previous studies have shown that men are drawn to red, regardless of what you're wearing. So, if you're ready to move things to the next level with a new guy, maybe opt for that cute red top instead of an LBD.
When used in conjunction with violet or black, pink is associated with seduction and eroticism.
Green is the rarest eye color in the world, with only 2% of the world's population (and fewer than one out of ten Americans) sporting green peepers, according to the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
Sweden. The stunning Scandinavian nation of Sweden is known for surreal forests, coastal islands, glittering lakes and glacial mountains. It is also known for being home to the most beautiful women in the world. With complete elegance, sporty charm and passionately deep eyes, women of Sweden are perfect beauties.
Thus, the most attractive color is blue, the second most preferred is red, followed by green, while yellow was found to be the least preferred color (Figure 1).
Soft white is universally flattering for everyone, although some autumn types may prefer a deeper ivory or cream. It is useful in spring and summer wardrobes as a light and airy neutral, and goes with all colors and neutrals. Stone gray is a lovely universal light neutral.
Blue, of course. Blue connotes competence, trustworthiness, likability, and calm. As stated above, shoppers were attracted to blue-themed storefronts. You might want to wear blue, especially navy, the next time you want to appear trustworthy and likable.
Facial Symmetry and Proportion
How your eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, and jaw just look perfect relative to each other. It's all about proportions and symmetry. Many plastic surgeons refer to this facial beauty ratio, as the “golden ratio”. The golden ratio is, of course, just a figure of speech.
The majority of the men (nearly 86% of them) preferred a woman with a dress size 14 to 16. Only 10% said they prefer women between the size 8 and 10, and 4.2% of them said they prefer women sizes 20 or over. So, the majority of men prefer a blue eyed, dark haired woman who is a size 14-16, who knew?
Because blue is favored by so many people, it is often viewed as a non-threatening color that can seem conservative and traditional. Blue calls to mind feelings of calmness and relaxation. 3 It is often described as peaceful, tranquil, secure, and orderly. Blue is seen as a sign of stability and reliability.
This flushed complexion seems to give males the signal that it's time to make their move. The same could be true for humans, Pazda says. In a previous study, scientists showed that men seem to be more attracted to women clothed in red rather than in a blah color such as white. That's regardless of the cut, he adds.
Red is the color of power. It gets people's attention and holds it. It is the most popular color for marketing.
We see our world in a huge variety of colour. However, there are other “colours” that our eyes can't see, beyond red and violet, they are: infrared and ultraviolet. Comparing these pictures, taken in these three “types of light”, the rainbow appears to extend far beyond the visible light.
