The Twilight Saga: New Moon
Conventional wisdom typically places The Twilight Saga: New Moon at the bottom of any list, but there's a strong argument to be made for its superiority over Eclipse.
The Twilight Saga is a series of romance fantasy films based on the book series Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. The series has grossed over $3.4 billion worldwide. The first installment, Twilight, was released on November 21, 2008.
According to Showbiz CheatSheet, the Harry Potter films “collectively made an astonishing $7.73 billion worldwide.” The Twilight movies made a little bit less than that and earned about $3.3 billion worldwide. That means billions more people watched the Harry Potter movies than the Twilight movies.
Twilight has a particular fanbase, like those who like mushy films (no offense) might love everything about this franchise. However, no one can deny that it is filled with cringe and clichés. Viewers complain of the relationships being toxic, the characters being stupid, and having an overdramatic plot.
Why The Twilight Movies Are Hated. The reasons why the Twilight movies got so much hate vary: some are not ok with what Meyer did to vampires (giving them sparkly skin, for starters) and werewolves (who turn into wolves at their own will), and others found their lack of plot to be annoying.
In fact, many have rightfully criticized "Twilight" for its heavily anti-feminist sentiment and sexism. Like the many romance films marketed toward young women, "Twilight" is yet another stale, predominantly white film in which the “weak” female protagonist needs a “strong” and powerful man to be her “savior.”
The good-looking characters, the love plot, and the actors, all make Twilight the best movie series. The characters help intrigue and attract the audience. The plot of the story with lovers Edward and Bella and 'the other man' Jacob creates arguments and disagreements which makes the movies more thrilling.
released in 2008, “Twilight,” which ranked 8th highest-grossing, had the smallest budget, while 8 out of 10 of the highest-grossing domestic films had budgets exceeding $100 million. The ultimatum to make “Twilight” with a limited budget was based on the idea that the film would have little commercial success.
There are so many captivating magical creatures.
Warner Bros. In Twilight, we have vampires and werewolves, which are always fun. But in Harry Potter, we get so much more! We have the traditional fantasy creatures like dragons, mermaids, and giants, plus completely new creatures like boggarts, thestrals, and dementors.
In Twilight, 17-year-old Bella moves to her father's home in Forks, Washington, meets the mysterious Cullen family, and falls in love with seemingly teenage Edward Cullen.
Merriam-Webster's online dictionary defines chick flick as "a motion picture intended to appeal especially to women." But "Twilight" is no lightweight date movie — instead, it's a real-girl's chick flick, where a normal-looking teenager finds romance with a modern (if undead) Prince Charming.
Charlie Swan (Human)
Even without sharing any of the vampire, or shape-shifter, abilities, Charlie Swan comes in on our list of major characters because he is one of the most important ones in the franchise. But since he is only a human, he is the weakest, by far.
The movie adaptations came out with PG-13 ratings, suggesting that the content was best for teens age 13 and up, and parental guidance may be needed. "Twilight," "New Moon," and "Eclipse" contain some disturbing images, sexuality, and violent content.
Although Twilight is a love story, The Vampire Diaries takes the crown when it comes to showcasing passionate romances. The characters in The Vampire Diaries have complex relationships with each other that result in heartbreak, confusion and complicated fallouts. The vampires in Twilight are much tamer.
The blue tones in Twilight can also be attributed to Catherine Hardwicke's filmmaking style, as she used those same tones in the 2003 movie Thirteen, while Chris Weitz, who directed Twilight's sequel movie, New Moon, has used warmer tones in his movies, such as American Pie and A Better Life.
The film earned over $700 million at the worldwide box office — and earned Pattinson the top spot on this list.
Carlisle Cullen Is The Wealthiest Fictional Character
In Twilight, Carlisle has been amassing wealth for an exceptionally long time. According to Consumerist, Carlisle Cullen's estimated real-life net worth is believed to be $34.1 billion.
Top 10 highest grossing films of all time

At this time, there are no plans to make another movie.
Edward controls who Bella is allowed to associate with, threatens to kill himself if anything happens to her and frequently scares her in a variety of ways such as by driving too fast or abandoning her in the woods after breaking up with her.
He was overwhelmed by it and was trying to restrain from killing the entire class. Though we can infer that Bella's scent caused Edward to act strangely towards her the first time they met, we learn the power it has over him and how painfully it affects him in "Midnight Sun."
Bella suffers from a classic case of clinical depression, triggered when Edward leaves her in the woods.
