— The murder of Nancy Marie Bennallack, a 28-year-old court reporter who was brutally stabbed to death in October 1970 in her Sacramento apartment, remained a cold case for nearly 52 years.
The Naina Sahani murder case or as it is popularly known the tandoor murder dates back to 1995. The accused Sushil Sharma murdered his wife, Naina Sahni, on suspicion of adultery and an extramarital affair with a man named Matloob Karim. On the night of July 2, 1995, Sharma shot and killed his wife Naina.
Serial killers with the highest known victim count. The most prolific modern serial killer is arguably doctor Harold Shipman, with 218 probable murders and possibly as many as 250 (see "Medical professionals", below). However, he was actually convicted of a sample of 15 murders.
