The Marvelous Mini Rex. Perhaps you're familiar with the Rex breed–large, velvet-coated rabbits that have enjoyed popularity since their development in the early part of the 20th century. Rex rabbits generally weigh in between 8 and 10 pounds, and they are well-loved for their incredibly soft Rex coats.
Rabbit breeds that have wooly fur are the American Fuzzy Lop, Angoras (English, French, Giant, Satin), and Jersey Wooly. The rabbit breed that mixes wooly fur and normal fur is the Lionhead.
English Lop
As one of the first domesticated rabbit breeds, English Lops are popular for their laidback and friendly temperament. In fact, these bunnies are so laidback that they're considered lazy by expert rabbit owners.

Bunnies are super-soft, and many will love cuddling with you as much as you love cuddling with them. Once a bunny is comfortable in their new home, they may claim you as their own by rubbing their chin on you to mark their territory.

Other popular breeds for beginner pet rabbit owners are the Mini Lop, Mini Rex, Dutch and Polish. All four are small breeds that have reputations of being gentle. That being said, all types of domestic rabbits have the potential of being good pets.
For many families, a Holland Lop rabbit is the perfect pet to welcome into their home. Holland Lops are also known for being incredibly affectionate. They love to be cuddled and loved. They're small and compact, which means they don't take up too much space.
But there is one rabbit that is considered to be “scientifically cute” — the smallest rabbit in the world, the pygmy rabbit.
Holland Lop
So you're scrolling Instagram reels and stumble across some of the tiniest and fluffiest bunnies you've ever seen and think to yourself – what are these adorable creatures? These four-legged friends are most likely the Holland Lop rabbit, one of the world's smallest bunnies!
Mini Rex are considered a friendly breed, although the degree of friendliness varies by individual. Rabbits are prey animals, so avoid sudden movements around them or grabbing them quickly from above. Some bunnies might never enjoy being picked up.
Cute and cuddly, the Mini Rex has a wonderful temperament and can make the perfect family rabbit. The Mini Rex is favored because it holds the same temperament and wonderful coat as the standard Rex, yet is so much smaller.
Netherland Dwarf
One of the smallest rabbit breeds in the world, the Netherland Dwarf matures to a weight of between 1 pound to 2 ½ pounds. These compact little rabbits have a short neck with heads as big as their bodies, big eyes, and tiny upright ears.
Thrianta Rabbits
Thrianta rabbits have a cuddly teddy-bear like appearance and are renowned as gentle, friendly, and social animals. They have a red-brown-colored coat and are silky soft. They weigh around 5–6 lbs and do very well as show rabbits, as well as making ideal pets for families with young children.
As sociable animals, rabbits appreciate constant companionship and in the wild you would rarely find a rabbit alone. To mimic their natural behaviour, it is always a good idea to keep your pet rabbit with a friend to avoid them feeling lonely and unhappy.
At a minimum, you would want the baby bunny to be 8 weeks of age AND well weaned from its mother (meaning it is eating and drinking completely on its own without loose stool or diarrhea). IDEALLY, find a bunny at least 12 weeks (3 months) old and weaned.
The Gold Bunny is a harmless Critter. It is a recolor of an ordinary Bunny, with a 1/400 (0.25%) / 1/150 (0.67%) chance of spawning in place of the ordinary version. However, it cannot be spawned by a Bunny Statue. As with all other gold critters, it can be caught with a Bug Net and sold for 10.
Description. The British breed standard calls for Lilac rabbits to be an "even pink shade of dove colour" over the entire body, with matching eye colour.
The name says it all: the Vienna Blue rabbit breed originally comes from Austria. With their shiny blue-grey fur, rabbits of this breed aren't just very attractive to look at, but also have a loving character. In addition, these pleasant long-eared pets are robust and low-maintenance.
It's also more common for female rabbits to be more standoffish toward human companions. They may show less interest in hanging out with you and prefer to do their own thing. However, once a female decides that she loves you and accepts you as part of her family, she is likely to be very loving and affectionate.
Dwarf Lop/Mini Lop Rabbit
These adorable bunnies are easy to handle and robust, they tend to get along well with other pets and children, and are happy to be held. This makes them a perfect candidate for a family pet.
Rabbits are very loving, social animals, which means they not only love to spend time with their humans – they require it. Without human interaction, rabbits can get bored, even to the point of becoming lonely and depressed.
