Hinokami Kagura, also known as Sun Breathing, is easily one of the strongest Breathing Styles in the series by a wide margin. It's the Breathing Style that served as the base for every other style in the series, which is no mean feat.
Sun Breathing is the foundation of the Breathing Techniques in Demon Slayer and the five main Techniques: Wind, Water, Flame, Stone, and Thunder are Branched out of it. The Sun Breathing, the prime swordsmanship technique, is more powerful and dominant.
Sound Breathing is one of the toughest breathing techniques derived from Breath of the Sun. This technique is quite difficult because it relies a lot on one's sensory perception since the user listens to the sounds of the enemy in order to compute their fighting styles.
Moon Breathing is the demonic form of the primal Sun Breathing in Demon Slayer anime and manga. Developed by Kokushibo, aka Michikatsu Tsugikuni, this is the second most powerful breathing technique in the series that no human can use. Moreover, it also has more forms than any other type of breathing.
Thirteenth Form of Sun Breathing in Demon Slayer
It involves a combination of all existing Sun breathing techniques — but performed in a consecutive manner. This technique's primary purpose is to slash all the twelve vital organs of a demon. Each form targets a specific organ. Tanjiro only used it once in the manga.
4 Sun Breathing Is The Strongest Breathing Style
It is so strong that the injuries inflicted on Muzan by its initial user remained present hundreds of years later. In the final battle against Muzan, Tanjiro once again proved its efficiency, arguably dealing the most significant bits of damage to the demon king.
Shinobu Kocho Is the Weakest Hashira
The Insect Hashira, Shinobu's petite frame prevents her from being physically able to decapitate any demon, be it an Upper-Rank or the weakest demon in Japan. At one point or another in the manga, all nine Hashira in Demon Slayer encountered an Upper-Rank.
Though Tanjiro succeeds in making use of Water Breathing throughout the early parts of his adventure, he eventually discovers that he's better suited for Sun Breathing instead. Sun Breathing was the first Breathing Style utilized by Yoriichi Tsugikuni.
The Thirteenth Form of the Sun Breathing Style is unique in the sense that it doesn't really have a name of its own. Rather, it's a combination of all the twelve forms present in this style, used in succession to maximize their power. This move was devised by Tanjiro solely to defeat Muzan.
The third form of Thunder Breathing involves an attack that swarms an opponent from all directions and gives them little to no room to escape. This makes Thunder Swarm a highly damaging technique that can completely decimate anyone who isn't ready to deal with its consequences.
The only known Demon Slayer who is capable enough to have two Breathing Styles at his disposal is Tanjiro Kamado. He initially started without any knowledge of Breathing Style and had no prior training in swordsmanship.
Box breathing
This is one of the fastest and easiest breathing techniques to help you slow down, reduce any anxiety you're feeling and recalibrate. How to do it: Close your eyes and inhale through your nose, slowly counting to four. Hold that breath for another four seconds.
Post-Transformation
Sensing their despair, Doma offered a chance to him and turned both Gyutaro and Daki into demons.
Inosuke Hashibira, an erratic character voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, created Beast Breathing from Wind Breathing and is the only character to use it. This technique replicates how wild animals move about in nature, and it is meant to be unpredictable and primal.
1. Gyomei Himejima. Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, is the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer corps in terms of strength and swordsmanship. He is the only person who uses spiked flails and an axe instead of standard swords to kill demons.
Killed And Was Killed By Doma
Before arriving at the Infinity Castle, the Insect Hashira consumed roughly 81 pounds of wisteria poison. Even though Doma killed her, he died just as quickly because of the sheer amount of poison he ingested after eating her.
What yogis refer to as Moon Breath or Chandra Bhedana involves breathing in through your left nostril only. The left side of your body is thought to be associated with the nervous system, and so Chandra Bhedana has been traditionally used to calm it down and promote sleep.
The Hinokami Kagura is later revealed by Shinjuro Rengoku to be a legendary Breathing Style known as Sun Breathing (, a legendary and forgotten Breathing Style and the first one to ever be created.
1 Yoriichi Tsugikuni
Yoriichi was the very first user of the Breathing Styles and he came up with Sun Breathing, a powerful breathing form that is known to be the most effective against demons.
