La Madeleine au Truffe
Recognized by Forbes as the most expensive chocolate in the world, La Madeline au Truffe is unique compared to other chocolates. It starts with a 70% Valrhona dark chocolate and is mixed with a variety of ingredients including truffle oil and vanilla.
The Yorkie bar is famous in the UK for its former tag line: "It's not for girls." Nestlé first launched the slogans "Don't feed the birds," "Not available in pink," and "King size not queen size" in 2002, but the bar has always been targeted at men ever since its inception.
Sometimes it's made with nothing but cacao beans, and sometimes it's made with a mix of cacao beans and added cacao butter (that's the fat portion of the cacao bean). Either version can be sold as 100% dark chocolate because it contains only cacao-based ingredients. Either version is a savory, rather than sweet, food.

Too much chocolate, 85 bars to be exact, results in theobromine poisoning which will give you symptoms similar to that of a caffeine overdose – trembling, excessive sweating and severe headaches. Choose dark chocolates with the lowest levels of heavy metals. CR's tests found five chocolates—one each from Mast, Taza, and Valrhona, and two from Ghirardelli—with relatively low levels of both lead and cadmium. Eight more are lower in only lead, and 10 others in just cadmium.
