The Bible has much to say about truth and directly relates it to God. In fact, the definition of truth in "Harper's Bible Dictionary" includes the statement that "God is truth." And this is how He is understood in Christian Science, the Science by which Jesus healed.
John 16:13. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
In John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (New International Version). I believe we can say that truth, in the eyes of Jesus, is doing and being in God's will in a consistent and obedient manner.
JESUS is the Truth. Knowing and accepting Him, as Lord and Saviour will set us free. “In your hearts, enthrone Him. There, let Him subdue all that is not holy and all that is not true.
So, as Jesus was praying, He asked the Father to sanctify the disciples with the truth, which is the truth is His Word and the Word is Jesus Christ.

Our Lord is the Way because He is the Truth and He is the Life.
In general, absolute truth is whatever is always valid, regardless of parameters or context. The absolute in the term connotes one or more of: a quality of truth that cannot be exceeded; complete truth; unvarying and permanent truth.
Emmet means the whole truth: beginning, middle and end, and this meaning is based on the word itself and its relation to the Hebrew Alphabet.
We love truth because it's the way we're created by God. It's built in, so to speak. And every step we take in the direction of valuing truth and resisting falsity moves us closer to understanding that God is Truth and to fulfilling Jesus' promise that this all-important truth will heal us and make us free.

Truth is important. Believing what is not true is apt to spoil people's plans and may even cost them their lives. Telling what is not true may result in legal and social penalties. Conversely, a dedicated pursuit of truth characterizes the good scientist, the good historian, and the good detective.
Truth is the property of being in accord with fact or reality. In everyday language, truth is typically ascribed to things that aim to represent reality or otherwise correspond to it, such as beliefs, propositions, and declarative sentences. Truth is usually held to be the opposite of falsehood.
“The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; … the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and ...
For example, a fact a person believes, say “grass is green” is true if that belief is consistent with other things the person believes like the definition of green and whether grass exists and the like. It also depends on the interpretation of the main terms in those other beliefs.
The Bible claims itself to be perfect and absolute truth. Psalm 19:7, “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.” Psalm 119:142, “Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.” In other words, without error.
According to the relativist, there is no absolute or objective truth; truth is relative and subjective. For example, a relativist can't consistently claim that 2 + 2 = 4 because the answer 4 is neither right nor wrong.
John 18:38 is the 38th verse in chapter 18 of the Gospel of John in the New Testament of Christian Bible. It is often referred to as "jesting Pilate" or "What is truth?", of Latin Quid est veritas? In it, Pontius Pilate questions Jesus' claim that he is "witness to the truth" (John 18:37).

The Four Noble Truths comprise the essence of Buddha's teachings, though they leave much left unexplained. They are the truth of suffering, the truth of the cause of suffering, the truth of the end of suffering, and the truth of the path that leads to the end of suffering.

Third John is a short letter from the apostle John to a fellow Christian, Gaius. John emphasizes the importance of “truth,” which is mentioned a half-dozen times. The passage highlights the need for Christians to support each other, so that missionaries and evangelists don't depend on the support of non-believers.
John identifies the truth as a way of life, and rejoices that his children are “walking in the truth” (3 John 4). John also identifies the truth as personal, indeed Christological.
