Akaza had short, bright pink hair that fluffed out around his head, and inward-tilting yellow eyes with pink eyelashes and blue sclera that looked somewhat like cracked glass. The kanji for "Upper Rank" ( 上 じょう 弦 げん , Jōgen?) and the daiji for "Three" ( 参 さん , San?) are etched into his irises as well.
The Upper Moons have their number and rank engraved into both of their eyes while the Lower Moons only have one of their eyes engraved. The number engraved in their eyes represents how strong each Demon is. Upper Moon One is the strongest while Lower Moon Six is the weakest.
Akaza has short pink hair and yellow eyes with a blue colored sclera, the kanji for Upper Moon Three written onto his irises.
Akaza has “上弦” on his right eye, meaning “Upper Rank” (referring to the fact he's an Upper Moon) and “参” on his left eye, meaning “three” (referring to his Upper Moon/Rank Position no. which is 3).
The Twelve Kizuki are divided into two groups, the Upper Ranks and the Lower Ranks. Each has their number engraved into their eye, with the Lower members having it in only one (as well as the Upper Rank Nakime because she has only a single eye as a Demon), whereas Upper members have it in both.
Curse of Kibutsuji
The curse prevents Muzan's name from being spoken aloud, and any who do will meet a horrible demise. One demon, Susamaru, faced this reality when battling Tamayo. Susamaru accidentally shot Muzan's name aloud, attempting to defend his honor with her mind clouded.
After Doma's demise, Kanao wears Shinobu's hair pin instead of Kanae's, as the latter was destroyed during the fighting. Furthermore she loses visibility in her right eye due to unleashing the final form of Flower Breathing, even though the eye is unaffected visually.
Despite losing his memories, Akaza was noted to have subconsciously retained his strong feelings for Koyuki, this is seen where Doma noted that Akaza absolutely refused to kill and eat women during his hundreds of years as a Demon, despite his obsessive desire for more strength and power.
While Mist Breathing has six forms, he created a Seventh Form: Obscuring Clouds during the fight with an Upper Rank Demon. Muichiro can defeat Akaza easily with his petite body that leverages his speed. Moreover, his ability of Transparent World can aid him in landing a fatal blow on Akaza's weak spot.
Most of Akaza's techniques are named after fireworks and inspired by Koyuki. His “Technique Deployment” ability shows the patterns of a snowflake, which is assumed to be a reflection of Koyuki's aura within him.
He would be disoriented by the shockwaves created by Akaza's blows. Tengen has anti-demon bombs that can disorient them for a short period of time, but this wouldn't be an effective strategy when Akaza uses Compass Needle, which allows him to accurately pinpoint and aim for his opponent's weak spots.
When it comes to pure strength, Shinobu Kocho is the weakest Hashira in Demon Slayer. She doesn't even have enough strength to decapitate a demon's head and she makes up for it by injecting poison into the demons.
After the deaths of Daki and Gyutaro, Kaigaku was promoted to become Upper Moon Six of the Twelve Demon Moons due to his power and confronted Zenitsu as a rematch he always desired.
The highest-ranking member of the Twelve Kizuki is bound to boast a ton of power that can destroy even the toughest of foes. Kokishibo definitely does justice to this moniker with his exceedingly powerful moveset, bolstered by his background of being a Demon Slayer.
Akaza appears before Muzan and reports to him that he could not find the Blue Spider Lily, instead, he took down one of the Hashira. Muzan retorts it was only one Hashira and declaring his desire is for all to be dead. Angered at his failure, Muzan takes control of Akaza's cells and causes him to bleed heavily.
Before turning into a demon and changing his name to Akaza, he was named Hakuji Soyama. As a human, he was a martial arts prodigy who had a daughter named Koyuki.
When he became 20 he met Muzan Kibutsuji who transformed him into a Demon. As a Demon, Doma becomes stronger by feasting on many, many female humans who, according to Doma, better to eat because they have many nutrients inside them that are used to nurture babies.
In spite of his cruelty and wrath, Akaza had one special code; he never devoured any women, in spite of the fact that eating females would have actually made him even stronger, and Muzan gave him special permission to do so.
Even after becoming a demon and losing his memories of his human life, parts of his human memories influenced his decisions; he refuses to eat or kill women, despite knowing it would make him stronger if he did so.
Koyuki was a frail, fair-skinned young lady with large, rounded pink eyes with white pupils shaped as flowers. She had black hair which was always tied into a large bun fastened with a hairpin and decorated with a Kushi (hair comb) and three snowflake hairpins.
Derived from the Water Breathing, the light pink Nachirin blade represents the Flower, and it is used by Kanao Tsuyuri and Kanae Koucho the sister demon slayers who developed their own shared Breathing.
After returning to his human form, Tanjiro loses the ability to see from his right eye, the iris of which is now a dull pink-gray color and the pupil black rather than its original white.
Kanao is a dedicated demon slayer and a good friend to Tanjiro. She hardly ever speaks, even to Tanjiro. Instead, she flips coins to make her decisions for her, making her oddly similar to Two-Face from the Batman comics. She might have a few words for Tanjiro, though, with or without that coin.
