However, the trait that sets her apart from all other demons is the fact that she has the ability to conquer the sun, prompting the Demon King to call her the "chosen demon". Abnormal Demon Physiology: As the "chosen demon", Nezuko has several unique demonic traits that set her apart from all other demons.
Like all demons, Nezuko has a special ability called a Blood Demon Art. Hers is referred to as Pyrokinesis, with which she conjures bright, pink flames. Nezuko's ability is devastating for other demons, as her flames have the power to cancel out other Blood Demon Arts.
While she might not be as powerful as Muzan himself, her overall strength makes her easily comparable to an Upper rank demon.
Of course, Nezuko never consumed any human, so Daki initially thought that she wouldn't be able to regenerate. However, Nezuko quickly restores her body parts, which obviously comes as a shock for Daki. After that, Nezuko transforms into her Berserk Demon form, which is also called her "Awakened Form."
Nezuko has several powers, including regeneration, superhuman strength, growing and shrinking rapidly and a blood demon technique called Exploding Blood (爆血, Bakketsu) that causes her blood to burn once it leaves her body.
Apart from Tanjiro, the show centers on his younger sister Nezuko Kamado, turned into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji. Demons are incapable of walking out in broad daylight because the sunlight will burn them into the ashes. However, Nezuko has immunity against the sun, so she was given the name “The Chosen Demon”.
Nezuko is at least stronger than Daki, meaning that if Muzan could bring her back under his control, she would certainly qualify for the most prestigious title a demon can hold: a member of the Twelve Kizuki. Thanks to Nezuko's remarkable strength, she would have to be an Upper-Moon.
There is no logical reason in relation to the plot that suggests why she has a horn. While fans might assume the horn grows on people with some relation to the sun, this wasn't the case for Tanjiro, who also turned into a demon. The only other reason that could explain the horn's existence is purely aesthetic.
Nezuko's body transforms as she breaks her bamboo muzzle, a horn grows out of the right side of her forehead and her body also becomes covered in ivy-like demon crests.
He quickly recovers from their most powerful attack, and if it weren't for Giyu showing up, he likely would have killed the siblings. Judging by that encounter, Nezuko is the weaker demon between she and Rui. She certainly can't defeat him on her own, and it's questionable if she can even do so with help.
Nezuko becoming a demon was technically planned in that she was another one of Muzan's experiments, but the type of demon she would become would surprise everyone.
Akaza outclasses Nezuko in all aspects except one: sun reststance. Unlike Akaza, Nezuko has conquered the sun, making her pretty much impossible to kill w/o demon-reverting medicine.
Zenitsu Agatsuma
She apparently views Zenitsu as a "weird dandelion" and did not initially seem to reciprocate his feelings. Although the two are rarely seen interacting together, Zenitsu treats her with affection and care.
He is a Kanoe-ranked Demon Slayer and a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. He became a Demon Slayer in order to find a way to turn Nezuko back into a human, and hunt down the demon who is responsible for the murder of his family and his sister's transformation into one.
However, she wasn't immune to the sunlight initially, as she got burned badly at first. So, in conclusion, her coming from a Sun Breathing user's lineage and not relying on human substance are perhaps the reasons for her immunity.
Most importantly, Nezuko upholds a vow of silence by remaining mute throughout the series. The muzzle serves as a representation of Buddhist practices. First, it gags Nezuko, preventing her from speaking like a Buddhist monk's vow of silence, but it also is there to suppress her desire to eat humans.
In Demon Slayer, Kamado Nezuko can change her size at will, and this may reflect her innermost desires.
Since he didn't know anything about the Blue Spider Lily medicine, he needed others to find the plant for him by happenstance. This is the general reason why Muzan turned Nezuko into a demon. More specifically though, was the fact that Nezuko was of Kamado blood.
The now-iconic bamboo muzzle serves as a way of stopping Nezuko from using her teeth, and also keeps her from tasting human blood, which would cause her to lose control of herself.
Those flowers can be found in the winter, which is the season we mainly see during the series. So her name is pretty much related to the snowy mountains where the Kamado family lives. Flower-based names are typical in Japan, but it's perfect for this show to display where Nezuko came from.
Overall Abilities: As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Nezuko is a very powerful and skilled swordswoman and combatant.
3/10 Can't Beat: Nezuko
Her strength and speed when she's embracing her new demon abilities are pretty impressive, and she'd likely give Zenitsu a run for his money if they were to fight.
Nezuko apparently can use Sun Breathing to a certain extent as a member of the Kamado family, since she eventually becomes immune to sunlight. The fact that Tanjiro, who uses Sun Breathing, becomes immune to sunlight when Muzan turns him into a demon shows that Sun Breathing is the source of sun immunity for demons.
