The ice cream in a McFlurry is the same that McDonald's uses for its cones and sundaes. The ice cream is made from Ultra-high-temperature processing (UHT) milk, extended with methylcellulose.
Yes the Ice cream in all McFlurry® desserts does contain milk.

McFlurry. The best news for McDonald's lovers is that McFlurrys make it onto the veggie menu too. That means they can enjoy the reigning Cadbury, Oreo, and Celebrations options whilst sticking to the veggie diet. The dairy based product isn't suitable for vegans though.
Does Macca's have any vegetarian or vegan menu options? Unfortunately, no McDonald's menu items are certified as vegan or vegetarian.
Unfortunately for vegan American McDonald's fans, the fries there aren't plant-based. This is because one of the ingredients is “natural beef flavoring,” which contains milk. “When our suppliers partially fry our cut potatoes, they use an oil blend that contains beef flavoring,” the McDonald's website states.
Can you eat a McDonald's McFlurry or sundae when pregnant? Like shakes, McDonald's ice cream sundaes and McFlurries are made with pasteurised milk products.

McFlurry
While the milkshake comes ready-made out of the machine, the McFlurry is prepared with soft serve.
The McFlurry consists of whipped, soft serve McDonald's vanilla-flavored ice cream in a cup. The McFlurry has a specially designed spoon with a hole in the handle which is attached to a blender. Various types of candy or cookies are added to the cup, which are then blended using the spoon.
The hollowness of the spoon is actually used in the process of blending the McFlurry. The spoon is designed to fit snugly into the machine that blends in the toppings. After the employee uses the soft-serve McDonald's ice cream machine to fill the cup, they scoop the topping of your choice onto the ice cream.
The announcement continued: "We're doing this to remove over 850 tonnes of plastic from our suppy chain a year, as part of our Plan for Change". A number of people applauded this move, pleased to see McDonald's take a stance on such an important issue.
Milk and cream are two key ingredients in a McFlurry
If you are vegan, lactose-intolerant, or simply trying to avoid eating dairy, the answer, unfortunately, is no. A McFlurry is not quite a milkshake, but not quite ice cream, which has many people debating whether or not it even includes dairy at all.
Soft serve is what it sounds like. It is almost the same as ice cream, but it is made from only 3-6% milk-fat and is stored at 25°F which allows it to be much smoother.
MCDONALD'S is ditching Dairy Milk and Crunchie McFlurries from the menu and permanently replacing them with two seasonal favourites. The fast food chain is adding Smarties and Maltesers to its line-up instead.
In addition to McDonalds usual menu offering, the fast food giant will also be selling two and three-litre bottles of full-cream and skim milk, packs of English muffins and gourmet bread rolls via the drive-thru window.

Soft ice cream and processed products should be fine as they are made with pasteurised milk and eggs. This means that any risk of salmonella food poisoning has been eliminated. If it's homemade ice cream you're after then make sure you use a pasteurised egg substitute or follow an egg-free recipe.
Let me start by saying that McDonald's milkshakes, McFlurries and ice cream products (including Sundaes) are all made with pasteurized milk and cream, universally, across the board. That's the first concern out of the way – the dairy is not raw and the ingredients are therefore safe for pregnant women.
It's best to avoid soft-serve ice cream when you're pregnant because listeria bacteria have been found in it. Many thickshakes are made with soft-serve ice cream, so they're also best avoided.
Like the McChicken Sandwich, nuggets don't contain milk or dairy but they are fried in the same fryer as Buttermilk Crispy Chicken, which means there is a chance of cross contamination. This means if you're lactose intolerant, you're probably fine eating the nuggets. If you have a milk allergy, you should be careful.
Yes, baked beans are vegan-friendly as, in their simplest form, they're white beans and a tomato sauce. Tinned supermarket versions often contain lots of sugar and preservatives, but these are also suitable for vegans. However, make sure you're not buying a tin with sausages in, as these, unsurprisingly, aren't vegan.
Now obviously this popular sandwich sold at the Golden Arches isn't vegan. (Nope, not even the eggs inside. Although many people wonder if the eggs in the mcmuffin are in fact chickens' eggs. They are.)
