Dyslexia and dysgraphia are both learning differences. Dyslexia primarily affects reading. Dysgraphia mainly affects writing. While they're different, the two are easy to confuse.
Definition. Visual dyslexia is reading difficulty resulting from either optical visual problems (physical causes) or visual processing disorders (cognitive/neurological causes).
People with stealth dyslexia have problems sounding out (or decoding ) words just like people with “classic” dyslexia. Yet unlike typical dyslexics, their scores on tests of reading comprehension are typically above average, or even very strong.
Surface Dyslexia

Kinesthetic Learning
Kinesthesia is the sense we use to learn sports and physical activities. One common kinesthetic teaching method used with dyslexics is 'air writing', where students say a letter out loud whilst simultaneously writing it in the air. The same exercise can be done in sand or with plasticine.
Some teachers and parents can mistake a dyslexic child for someone who is lacking intelligence. But the truth is dyslexia has nothing to do with a child's level of intelligence.

Most poor readers have focus issues. When one eye is looking at one letter, the other eye is looking at a different letter. This means their brain receives two images at the same time. If the brain alternates which image to process, it causes the text to appear to move.
They work by making text stand out and giving the illusion that the text is on a coloured background. They further work by altering “the wavelength of each colour, re-calibrating the speed that signals are passed” from the eye to the brain.
Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome ( or Irlen Syndrome) is a distinct type of visual dyslexia. It is related to difficulty with light source sensitivity, and colour. Research has shown that 50% of those with reading difficulties suffer from Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome.
