Superhuman Strength: After transforming into his armored state, Colossus possesses vast superhuman strength. As a teenager, he was sufficiently strong enough to be listed as a class 70.
But despite his impressive abilities, Colossus isn't remotely close to attaining Omega-Level status. He's resilient but to a fault - as numerous Sentinels and the Hulk have proven. Colossus might night need to breathe or eat when he transforms, but he does become heavy enough to sink in steep bodies of water.
19 COLOSSUS
Since Colossus is one of the more famous X-Men characters, he's had that time. His fights against Juggernaut and She-Hulk show that he's fully capable of holding his own against some of the strongest Marvel characters. While not an Omega, we definitely think Colossus has reached Alpha classification.
Jean Grey was the only Class Five mutant ever met by Charles Xavier (which implies Magneto and Pyro are Class Four), and her potential was stated to be limitless.
When breaking down the strongest mutants in Marvel, the one that always rises to the top of the debate is Colossus. His entire mutant power is based on strength and power, but he is not quite the strongest member of the mutant race.
Juggernaut would really only need to land a single hit on Colossus to knock him out and make him lose him armored form. However, Colossus is far more agile that Juggernaut, and could dodge him and counter him with better martial arts training easily.
Thor joins the Ultimates in attacking the X-Men later on; he fights Storm but is defeated by Colossus.
Proteus is written as one of the strongest and deadliest mutants ever to appear in Marvel Comics.
Strength Level
Class 100+ ; The Juggernaut possesses vast physical strength which exact limit is unknown but he is able to lift far in excess of 100 tons effortlessly. He is one of the strongest beings to ever walk the Earth.
Omega-level mutants
An Omega-level mutant is one with the most powerful genetic potential of their mutant abilities. The term was first seen in the 1986 issue Uncanny X-Men #208 as "Class Omega", but was completely unexplained beyond the obvious implication of it referring to an exceptional level of power.
Magneto is an Omega-Level Mutant, meaning he has a great deal of nearly limitless power and potential. His control over all things metallic in nature gives him flexibility with his abilities that, in his occasionally ruthless hands, makes him possibly one fo the most dangerous mutants alive.
Powers and abilities. Jean Grey is an Omega-level mutant, and at her highest and strongest potential was fully merged with the Phoenix Force and with it was able to defeat even Galactus.
In the Ulimate book, Colossus is strong enough to actually resist Magnetos power. If he has reason enough -- a threat to Wolverine allowed him to overcome magneto's attempts to control him.
A Russian mutant, he is a member of the X-Men. Colossus is able to transform himself into metallic form, making him the physically strongest of the team.
Wolverine's claws are so deadly, that they once managed to cut straight through colossus, whose body is made up of impenetrable organic metal.
Hulk (2009) #1. While Colossus tends to be the strongest member on any X-Men roster, the Hulk's a bit out of his league. Colossus knew this before he threw his first steel-coated punch, but still entered into a fight with the Hulk anyway. He got in a few good blows, but none of them phased the Hulk.
Of the many mutants that are in the Universe Marvel, no more than 20 mutants are categorized as Omega levels, including Vulcan, Jean Gray (Phoenix), Hope Summers, Iceman, Mister M, Elixir, Quentin Quire, David Haller (Legion), Matthew Malloy, and Franklin Richards.
It was originally believed that Franklin's powers came from him being a mutant, and he was considered an Omega-level mutant; once stated to be even beyond Omega classification.
The term "Omega-level mutant" was eventually established to classify mutants of immeasurable potential within their specific category of ability. Several such beings (or ones close to them) have appeared throughout the history of X-Men and Marvel to astound us with what they are capable of.
Long-time fans of the X-Men franchise will not be surprised to learn that the title goes to Charles Xavier's own son, David Haller, aka Legion, who has the power of countless Omega-level mutants trapped in his usually unstable mind.
Now an adult, Loolo Marshall - first introduced as a minor Arakki side character in Al Ewing's X-Men Red - is established as the fastest being still alive, taking on the codename Quick.
BIO: David Haller is an extremely powerful mutant, and the son of Professor X -- a fact neither was aware of for most of David's life. As a young child, he was the lone survivor of a terrorist attack that triggered his powers, incinerating the minds of the attackers.
Colossus' organic metal is strong enough to fend off bullets or even attacks from weaker metals, but it leaves the X-Man vulnerable to attacks from both vibranium and adamantium, meaning heroes like Captain America and Wolverine could kill Colossus with little effort.
One of the most physically powerful X-Men, Colossus is a force to be reckoned with. He would be able to put up a good fight against Thanos and even get close to beating him but he wouldn't be able to keep Thanos down and that would be a problem.
Deadpool does his best to harm Colossus, but the metal skin and muscles of the Russian mutants mean that Wade can only break his wrists by punching him. In the comics, the two have faced several times, and the results are always the same.
