Cucumber is referred to in verse (2:61) of chapter (2) sūrat l-baqarah (The Cow):
Abdullah ibn Ja'far reported: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, eating fresh dates with cucumbers. Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) combined cucumbers with ripe dates saying: “the heat of the latter is reduced by the coolness of the former.”
Yes it could be called a Sunnah, because Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wasallam is reported to have ate dates with cucumber.
There are many references to fruits in ancient literature. According to Quran, the fruits like grape, date, fig, olive and pomegranate are gifts and heavenly fruits of God. Fresh and dry fruits are the natural staple food of man. They contain substantial quantities of essential nutrients in a rational proportion.
Pomegranate. Proponents of the theory that the Garden of Eden was located somewhere in what is now known as the Middle East suggest that the fruit was actually a pomegranate, a plant indigenous from Iran to the Himalayas and cultivated since ancient times.

In the Medicine of the Prophet Muhammed S.A.W. It is also mentioned that ALLAH'S Messenger, NABI MUHAMMED (SAWS) loved grapes and melons. Although alcohol is forbidden, the Quran mentions grapes alone six times.
The Prophet Muhammad described himself as a son of mother who ate dried meat and he liked dried meat (Ibn Sa'd, IV, 312; Ibn Māja, At'ima, 30; Shāmī, VII, 234, 302). Vegetables also took place in The Prophet Muhammad's table. Zucchini, onion, chard, garlic, leek, mushroom and turnip were among them.
That is a lesson to all finicky eaters out there, to always express gratitude to Allah for the abundance of food that we have and not to wrinkle our noses over foods that we dislike. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did show that he loved the taste of pumpkin.
God placed Adam in a paradisical Garden. After Adam sinned by eating from the forbidden tree (Tree of Immortality), paradise was declined to him, but he may return if Adam repents from his sin. This story is seen as both a literal as well as an allegory for human relationship towards God.

Forbidden food substances include alcohol, pork, carrion, the meat of carnivores and animals that died due to illness, injury, stunning, poisoning, or slaughtering not in the name of God.
These plants are Agaricus campestris L., Allium cepa L., Allium sativum L., Beta vulgaris L. Citrulus lanatus (Thunb.) Mats. and Nakai, Cucumis sativus L., Lagenaria siceraria, Trigonella foenum-graecum L.
The question arises whether the Prophet disliked any type of food. It is often mentioned in answer that the Prophet disliked onion and garlic.
The Prophet Muhammad himself rarely ate meat, and many of his most prominent companions did not perform the animal sacrifice, known by the Arabic words “qurbani” or “udhiya.” The Prophet was also known for his compassion toward animals. It's not surprising, then, that some Muslims do shun meat.
According to the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), having a healthy breakfast is highly recommended. The Prophet himself used to eat a simple breakfast consisting of dates and milk, or bread and olive oil.
While the proverb “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” is known in much of the world, the Muslim equivalent is “seven dates a day keeps the doctor away.” The Prophet argued that seven dates in the morning protected one from poison and witchcraft.
A favourite fruit used in juices, syrups, and savory dishes, the pomegranate is a huge part of many Muslim cultures today. Appearing in the Quran three times, the pomegranate is often mentioned in relation to Heaven and Allah's gift to humankind.
Why is green so prevalent in the Muslim world? Because it was supposedly Mohammed's favorite color. The Islamic prophet is said to have worn a green cloak and turban, and his writings are full of references to the color.
Nabeez or Nabidh is a drink that was consumed by our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace & Blessings Upon Him) and has a number of health benefits as well as the added benefit of following the sunnah.
