In most Australian states and territories, the age at which you can legally consent to have sex is 16 years.
There is no law about what age you can leave home, but your parents generally have to look after you until you're 18. The most important thing is you have a safe place to live. If you are under 18 and there are Family Court orders about you or you are under guardianship, then the law may be different for you.

Section 13 of the Care and Protection of Children Act 2007 (NT) defines a child as a person less than 18 years of age, or a person apparently less than 18 years of age if the person's age cannot be proved.

It depends on where you live and what the law is for emancipation. Some places require parental permission to be emancipated. Others can be emancipated by the legal/court system. The court system will typically require the minor to provide proof/evidence that they can live independently.
