1. Warm water & lemon. According to ancient Chinese medicine, drinking a glass of warm water in the morning is the best thing you can do to kick-start digestion. Warm or hot water is a lot easier for your body to handle.
Water. My favorite morning beverage is always water, first and foremost. Your body is deprived of water when you sleep, so it is best to rehydrate with water first thing before anything else.
Lemon water. Getting in a couple of cups of water into your system first thing in the morning is always a good idea. What's an even better idea is to infuse it with citrus fruits like lemon. Lemon gives you a healthy dose of vitamin C and helps detoxify your body at the start of the day.
Lemon water can help with digestion
To relieve bloating, gas, and constipation, drink a cup of lemon water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Lemon contains minerals that promote healthy digestion, alleviate heartburn, and stimulate healthy bowel function by reducing bloat and stimulating bowel movements.
Throughout the night, the healthy bacteria that work in the gut to digest food continue to do so. The process of creating gas continues as you sleep, so you may wake up with morning gas often. Further, when you eat food, it stimulates the digestive system muscle activity that's suppressed when you sleep.
Supplements like probiotics, collagen, omega-3 fatty acids, and l-glutamine can all help you heal and seal your gut (but you may not need them all at once). Getting enough sleep and reducing stress can improve your gut health.
Digestive Support
If you have problems with regularity, you might benefit from drinking two servings of Yakult every day. Lactobacillus casei strain Shirota has been shown to help to relieve constipation, soften stools, and make for more regular bowel movements.
Frequent discomfort, gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and heartburn could be signs that your gut is having a hard time processing food and eliminating waste. You feel tired more often than not. People with chronic fatigue may have imbalances in the gut.
An anti-inflammatory diet, regular exercise, good quality sleep, and probiotics are all strategies to put in place before trying antimicrobials or antibiotics to get rid of bad bacteria.
Oatmeal + Fruit
Oats are one of the best things for your gut because they are a good source of fiber and contain prebiotic fiber to boot.
The primary difference is that Yakult contains a different probiotic strain than yogurt, that is acid-resistant and is therefore still alive once it reaches the intestines, where it is able to confer its health benefits. And not all brands of yogurt contain live and active probiotic cultures.
What is the difference between the red and the blue bottles? Both have the same flavour and quantity of bacteria. Yakult Light (the blue pack) contains the sweeteners malitol syrup and sucralose, so has less sugar and fewer calories than the original Yakult (the red pack).
Yakult can be enjoyed at any time, regardless of whether it is before, during or after a meal. The Lactobacillus casei Shirota strain has been proven to survive strong gastric and bile acids to arrive alive in the digestive system, favourably increasing the numbers of beneficial bacteria there.
Watery flatulence may be due to a stomach upset or something a person has eaten or drunk that day. If a person experiences wet farts on a regular basis or has other symptoms alongside wet farts, they should see their doctor. Watery flatulence could indicate a digestive disorder or underlying health condition.
The most common cause of stomach pain and bloating is excess intestinal gas. If you get a bloated stomach after eating, it may be a digestive issue. It might be as simple as eating too much too fast, or you could have a food intolerance or other condition that causes gas and digestive contents to build up.
