Try foods such as bananas, rice, applesauce, dry toast, soda crackers (these foods are called BRAT diet). For 24-48 hours after the last episode of vomiting, avoid foods that can irritate or may be difficult to digest such alcohol, caffeine, fats/oils, spicy food, milk or cheese.
For Nausea, Vomiting and Diarrhea:
Avoid alcohol, caffeinated beverages, and fruit juice. Over the next 24-48 hours, advance to the BRAT diet (B-bananas, R-rice (white) A-apple sauce (no juice), T-toast) but choices may also include chicken soup, plain pasta, saltine crackers and pretzels.
Eat some salty foods, such as pretzels, soup, and sports drinks. Eat some high potassium foods, such as bananas, potatoes without the skin, and fruit juices.
Vomiting with watery diarrhea is the most common cause of dehydration. Dehydration is a reason to see a doctor right away. These are signs of dehydration: Decreased urine (no urine in more than 8 hours) happens early in dehydration.
How long diarrhoea and vomiting last. In adults and children: diarrhoea usually stops within 5 to 7 days. vomiting usually stops in 1 or 2 days.

Diarrhea can be stopped quickly with OTC medicines such as loperamide (Imodium) and Pepto-Bismol (bismuth subsalicylate).
The CDC recommends bleach to kill the stomach bug-causing norovirus on surfaces. But if that will damage your counter or you'd rather not use it, look for “phenolic solution” on the label of a concentrated disinfectant. To kill the germs, the EPA suggests you use 2 to 4 times the recommended amount.
Allow yourself to rest. Resting propped up in a seated position with the head elevated at least twelve inches above the feet is ideal. Remain in this seated rested position for a minimum of an hour, or until you are no longer experiencing nausea. Do not lie down all the way.
Bland, starchy, low-fiber foods like those included in the BRAT diet (bananas, bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) are binding, which can bulk stool and help you get rid of diarrhea fast. You can also try probiotics, glutamine supplements, or home remedies like herbal teas and rice water.

DIARRHOEA: Toasted bread is a great method to help people who are suffering from diarrhoea. Toasted bread adds bulk to your stool and treats diarrhoea. Toast is also a part of the biggest anti-diarrhoea diet, BRAT which stands for bananas, rice, apple sauce and toast.
Spicy foods – Spicy food is one of the more common culprits of diarrhea and stomach pain. Capsaicin, which gives peppers their spicy taste, can be an irritant for some people2. Sugar and artificial sweeteners – Fructose is a sugar that occurs naturally in fruits (fresh fruits and fruit juices).
Yogurt can usually help with diarrhea. However, if you have an intolerance or allergy to lactose, it may worsen diarrhea. If you have diarrhea and would like to try yogurt as a home remedy, choose a brand that contains probiotics and is low in sugar.
You should be able to start eating a more regular diet, including fruits and vegetables, within about 24 to 48 hours after vomiting or having diarrhea.
Add 1-2 bananas for 2 times a day to ease the stomach issue.
COVID-19-related diarrhea and nausea
Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea are less common symptoms of COVID-19. Still, when they do occur, they tend to be some of the first symptoms you will experience. Diarrhea caused by COVID-19 tends to be more watery, yellow or green in color.
Call 911 or emergency medical assistance
Seek prompt medical attention if nausea and vomiting are accompanied by other warning signs, such as: Chest pain. Severe abdominal pain or cramping. Blurred vision.
Try drinking sips of water, weak tea, clear soft drinks without carbonation, noncaffeinated sports drinks, or broth. Sugary drinks may calm the stomach better than other liquids. Temporarily stop taking oral medicines. These can make vomiting worse.
You want the position to be as relaxed as possible. If you have diarrhea, sleep in whatever position allows you to get out of bed the fastest. There's not much a sleeping position can do to help diarrhea, so it's best to stick with what feels comfortable and lets you run to the bathroom when the time comes.
