I was just rewatching OOTP, and I just realized that Sirius' last words to Harry before he died were "Nice one James!". I think that was quite a nice touch.
Lupin speaks his last living line to Kingsley at the start of the Battle of Hogwarts. He tells his fellow Order of the Phoenix member, "It is the quality of one's convictions that determines success, not the number of followers." By the next time Lupin is on screen, he's dead.

In the [Deathly Hallows] book, Snape's dying words to Harry were "Look at me". Right then we did not realize the significance of his words but in the very next chapter when Harry goes through Snape's memories in the Pensieve, he comes to know how much Snape loved Lily.
Bellatrix Lestrange
"What will happen to your children when I've killed you? When Mummy's gone the same way as Freddie?"
"... have mercy..." Lily Potter's death practically set in motion the wheels for the entire series. She died at her home in Godric's Hollow trying to protect infant Harry, whom Voldemort was hell-bent on murdering. Lily's last words were an ardent request to the Dark Lord to let her little boy live.
Gallopin' gorgons. This phrase was first said by Hagrid in the Sorcerer's Stone when he realized he'd almost forgotten to send an owl to Dumbledore that he'd given Harry's Hogwarts acceptance letter.

Another fairly big character, another off-page death. Tonks' last words -- "Have you seen Remus?" -- are particularly poignant in light of how we next see her; lying side-by-side with her husband in the Great Hall.
When Dobby's last words before dying in Harry's arms are "Such a beautiful place, to be with friends. Dobby is happy to be with his friend, Harry Potter."

90% here thinks he laughed because he simply lost it, he had a mental breakdown. Though some people believe Wormtail put a laughing charm on him after he blew up the street to make him laugh uncontrollably.
Sirius' death is a huge loss for Harry, and as we will see in the early part of the next book, he reacts by isolating himself. As he recovers from this blow, Harry realizes that Voldemort used his godfather to get to him, and he fears his friends will always be in mortal danger as long as Voldemort lives.
Alot of it appears to be in wizard version- such as mudblood, Merlin's beard, etc. Ron often says things like 'blimey' or 'bloody hell' and other British exclamations, however no outright swears are written up until the Deathly Hallows.
Malfoy spots Harry and casts a Cruciatus curse; Harry, defending himself, using the Half-Blood Prince's Sectumsempra spell without knowing its effects. To his horror, it gashes Draco's face and chest, spilling his blood everywhere.
In the books it is revealed that Harry Potter got the scar when he was attacked by Voldemort, who had just murdered his parents. Voldemort launched the killing curse "Avada Kedavra" at baby Potter but the spell rebounded. It was the only time someone had been hit in the face by the curse and survived.
Explanation: Even though it's just one word, “always” is largely considered one of the most iconic lines from the Potter series.
Why have we never considered this before? Both Lily and James Potter were killed by Voldemort aged 21 at Godric's Hollow on 31 October 1981, when Harry was just 1 year old, And the rest of the story, you no doubt know.
While Dumbledore said he would protect the Potters, it was on the condition that Snape now worked for him as a double agent. Snape's love for Lily ran so deep that he agreed. When she was still murdered, he reluctantly decided that her death would not be in vain, and that he would protect her son.
He Called Lily A Mudblood
That's right, Snape called Lily a mudblood, the worst possible thing you can call a witch with muggle parents. Granted, Snape said it in the heat of the moment while fighting against James and his entire group of Marauders, but there are no takebacks from something like that.
