Another moment of wonderment from the start of term banquet was Albus Dumbledore's parting words at the end of his speech: 'Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!
Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment!
“Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!” Four Words for “Other”
Dumbledore's words aren't just a random joke, he's playfully insulting and humbling each of the four houses. Nitwit is an idiot, the worst thing you can call a intellectual Ravenclaw. Blubber is fat/excess, the worst thing you can call a proud and vain Gryffindor. Oddment is a weirdo/outsider.
In the film The Prisoner of Azkaban, Dumbledore addresses the Hogwarts students in the great hall and says, "But you know, happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."

"Severus, please." Watching Snape kill the Hogwarts headmaster was gutting; finding out that Dumbledore "begging for his life" was actually begging Snape to kill him was a sad reminder of just how selfless this man was.

Gaunt's ring
After retrieving the ring Albus Dumbledore himself fell victim to a curse that, even when contained, would likely have killed him within the year. Once rendered defunct as a Horcrux, the stone was placed inside a Golden Snitch and left to Harry Potter in Dumbledore's will.
Albus Dumbledore
You may know already that 'Dumbledore' is an archaic word for 'bumblebee', which is rather sweet. 'Albus' appropriately means 'white', just like the Professor's famous beard. But let's not forget about his many middle names, which go far deeper into Dumbledore's more complex characteristics.
Presumably Dumbledore clapping is a signal to them to Magic the food up to the tables.
Quirrell's body manifests burns and blisters during his fight with Harry due to the protective power Harry's mother left in his skin when she died for him.
Dumbledore's last line is very similar in the final book and movie. He tells Harry in the film, "Of course it's happening inside your head, Harry. Why should that mean it's not real?"
The big “secret” about the Dumbeldore family that the title promises is actually an explanation of the last film's cliffhanger. Albus confirms to Creedence early on in the film that he is in fact a Dumbledore, quashing any rumor that Grindelwald had lied to the young boy in order to sway him to his movement.
Albus Dumbledore
It is not certain what the specific fear is as he is not fearing the death of his sister as she is already deceased and it is suggested that Dumbledore fears that it was him who directly killed his sister in the conflict or that he fears the loss of control that lead to his sister's sudden death.
Dumbledore reveals how thoroughly he loves Harry. Harry is brave, and Dumbledore is proud as any father would be. More than that, Dumbledore succumbs to a parent's weakness; he cares more about Harry's happiness and wellbeing than the wizarding world he is trying to protect.
At the end of the series, Dumbledore admits to Harry that power is his ultimate weakness. He was always conscious of it, and he feared that power had the potential to corrupt him beyond help. That's why he never accepted the Ministry of Magic position even after it was offered several times.
He was easily blinded by love. This was the root of his mistakes with Grindelwald. While Dumbledore was never evil, he was power hungry and his love for Grindelwald blinded him. Similarly, his love for Harry made him neglect telling him certain things that he should've known.
The betrayal here stems again from the idea of "For the Greater Good" – Dumbledore seems to have chosen Harry to die, since he had already been chosen to die once, in order to save the rest of the world… he just never informed Harry of this decision. Whoops.
“We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.” “Do not pity the dead, Harry, pity the living, and above all those who live without love.” “Perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it.” “It is my belief…that the truth is generally preferable to lies.”
3 Albus Dumbledore: Firestorm.
Snape's last words imply his urgent desire to get a glimpse of Lily Potter's eyes, a woman he had loved his entire life and for whose death he felt largely responsible. Harry is constantly reminded throughout the series that he has his mother's eyes.
In the [Deathly Hallows] book, Snape's dying words to Harry were "Look at me". Right then we did not realize the significance of his words but in the very next chapter when Harry goes through Snape's memories in the Pensieve, he comes to know how much Snape loved Lily.
In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Petunia Dursley receives a Howler, later revealed to be from Albus Dumbledore himself, shouting only the words, “REMEMBER MY LAST, PETUNIA” (OoTP 40).
