I was just rewatching OOTP, and I just realized that Sirius' last words to Harry before he died were "Nice one James!".
"Nice one, James!"
Interestingly, right before his death, Sirius had been fighting Death Eaters at the Department of Mysteries in the Ministry of Magic alongside Harry.
Sirius' death is a huge loss for Harry, and as we will see in the early part of the next book, he reacts by isolating himself. As he recovers from this blow, Harry realizes that Voldemort used his godfather to get to him, and he fears his friends will always be in mortal danger as long as Voldemort lives.
Last line of Harry Potter: “The scar had not pained Harry for 19 years. All was well.”
V is for Voldemort: The big bad, He Who Must Not Be Named and the reason Harry can't spend all his time at Hogwarts trying to get off with Hermione. Lord Voldemort is unquestionably the most powerful Dark Wizard of all time. He's rubbish at smelling stuff tho.
Bellatrix Lestrange Killed her own cousin, Sirius Black: She killed Sirius (who was her cousin) during the battle at the Department of Mysteries. She was remorseless and was cackling in glee after she had murdered Sirius.
Get away from my godson! Sirius Black (born November 3, 1959 - died June 18, 1996, aged 36), also known by his nickname Padfoot, is a major character from the Harry Potter series.
When Sirius dies (Order of the Phoenix), Daniel Radcliffe, as Harry, screams, but in the movie it's muted. Dan's grandmother had died that same day, so the scream was as real as could be, so real that it made Emma Watson (Hermoine Granger) and Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) cry.
Bellatrix Lestrange
"What will happen to your children when I've killed you?
Dumbledore dies in the sixth book and movie, but he later comes to Harry in a vision when the titular wizard is facing off against Lord Voldemort. Dumbledore's last line is very similar in the final book and movie. He tells Harry in the film, "Of course it's happening inside your head, Harry.
12. Snape's Last Words. In the [Deathly Hallows] book, Snape's dying words to Harry were "Look at me". Right then we did not realize the significance of his words but in the very next chapter when Harry goes through Snape's memories in the Pensieve, he comes to know how much Snape loved Lily.
Why did they mute Harry's scream? They muted Harry's scream when Sirius died because it was so heartbreaking that Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix) and Emma Watson (Hermione) cried. It was too sad to watch, so they muted the scream. In Order of the Phoenix, Harry yells at most people but not at Sirius.
There is no doubt that Sirius loves Harry and is fiercely protective of him, but he does let his more immature impulses take over sometimes. In The Order of the Phoenix, Sirius wants to visit his godson in Hogsmeade while disguised in his Animagus form.
Right on time, Sirius's head is sitting in the Gryffindor fireplace. Harry tells him everything, and in return Sirius warns Harry that Karkaroff had been a Death-Eater who ultimately was caught by Moody. Sirius says that Moody was the best Auror in history, and is now at Hogwarts for a reason.
Later on in life Marlene becomes the wife to Pure-Blood Wizard Sirius Black and the mother to their children Half-Bloods Aries, and Artemis Black. She is the sister-in-law to Pure-Blood Wizard Regulus Black, Muggle-born witch Vivienne Price and aunt to Half-Blood Renee Black.
The fifth year was boring for Sirius. Except for the fact that he had mastered the Patronus Charm, -his patronus was a black German Shepherd, and became an Animagi, -which was the same as his patronus, the fifth year wasn't very interesting.
At the height of the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, most of the fighting was set in the Death Chamber; and Bellatrix Lestrange hit her cousin Sirius Black squarely on the chest with a curse, throwing him off balance and sending him through the Veil and to his death.
His reaction to Bella's death was akin to his reaction at the loss of the Cup, which was when he realised that his own immortality was jeopardised amidst war and his own death could have been near.
He endured horrible things right from his unpleasant childhood, the death of his best friends to spending twelve years in Azkaban. His tragedy however didn't stop at his framing and imprisonment. Sirius met an undeserving death at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries.
Voldemort is a master manipulator. By humiliating Bellatrix as he does, he punishes her for her part in the failure at the Ministry of Magic — including her failure to finish off Tonks — and rouses her to try harder to murder members of her family.
Some would say there's no spell worse than Avada Kedavra, the Killing Curse that Voldemort used so indiscriminately. But it's definitely not the wizarding world's only Unforgivable Curse.
Avada Kedavra
According to Rowling, its root is actually Aramaic and derives from the original "abracadabra," which means "let the thing to be destroyed." In this case, the thing is a person. Scary stuff. Consider your Harry Potter buzz officially killed. Have something to add to this story?
