Matthew 13:41-42
The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace.
“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”— Hebrews 1:14. Angels are sent by God to protect us and help us inherit His full kingdom. The Bible tells us that angels are His servants, carrying out His will and work for our good.
For it is written: 'He shall give His angels charge over you,' and, 'In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. '” To this Jesus replied, “It is written again, 'You shall not tempt the Lord your God'” (Matt. 4:5–7).
Psalm 91:11 ESV
“For He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. ”
As we continue to look at Psalm 91, let's look at verses 11-12. “For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone.”
The "three angels' messages" is an interpretation of the messages given by three angels in Revelation 14:6–12. The Seventh-day Adventist church teaches that these messages are given to prepare the world for the second coming of Jesus Christ, and sees them as a central part of its own mission.
The Lord has not revealed whether one specific angel is assigned to watch over each person, but you can be assured that divine protection and comfort are available. If you exercise faith, you will have God's help, including angels sent to strengthen and comfort you and give you courage to do what is right.
The theology of angels and tutelary spirits has undergone many changes since the 5th century. The belief is that guardian angels serve to protect whichever person God assigns them to.
Psalm 91:12 “..they (the angels) will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” Always we will come across obstacles, and negotiating them can be a vexing task if we rely only on our own abilities.
Jesus said (quoting the Old Testament), "Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only" (Matthew 4:10). Angels were created by God (just as we were), and only our Creator is worthy of our adoration. We also aren't to pray to angels -- and we don't need to!
Our guardian angels watch over us to offer protection, especially when our souls need protecting. They aid our prayer by interceding for us, and help to prepare our souls for the moment when we stand before God at our death.
Your angels may also communicate in more obvious ways, like speaking directly to you. You may hear a voice, either inside your head or a voice that seems to come from outside of you, even when no one else is around. Very often this will happen when your angels need to share some vital information to keep you safe.
Angels in the Bible
The word angel comes from the Greek word aggelos (pronounced angelos), which means messenger. Some English translations of the Bible also translate malak, the Hebrew word for messenger, as angel when the malak is from God. Sharing a message from God is the primary role of angels in Scripture.
An angel is a messenger of God, characterized as having human form with wings and a halo. The word suggests goodness, and is often used to refer to someone who offers comfort and aid to others in times of trouble.
Each person is assigned four Hafaza angels, two of which keep watch during the day and two during the night. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is reported to have said that every man has ten guardian angels. Ali ben-Ka'b/Ka'b bin 'Ujrah, and Ibn 'Abbas read these as angels.
Guardian angels also give us signs of impending danger or they warn us when we need to pay more attention to what is happening around us.
Angels are activated by the word of God (Psalm 103:20). 3.Be careful of the words you speak. Do not speak wrong words. Wrong words would deactivate your angels of blessing.
God speaks through different channels, according to individual needs. Often, He speaks through a still, small voice. Sometimes His voice is felt; other times it is audible. He speaks through scriptures, impressions, dreams and angels.
They will often send us signs and symbols when we are struggling with hardships. Angel signs and symbols may also appear when we are going through a spiritual awakening. This is because we are becoming more in tune with higher levels of consciousness and spirit guides.
The cherubim are the most frequently occurring heavenly creature in the Hebrew Bible, as the Hebrew word appears 91 times. The first occurrence is in the Book of Genesis 3:24.
Cherubim are described in the Bible as having four faces: a face of an ox, a lion, an eagle and a man. Christopher shows through historical evidence how these faces depict different aspects of a king's power, majesty, and intelligence.
