Mad Pumpkin Head is a boss with well… a pumpkin-shaped looking helm in Elden Ring. This boss wields a flail, a weapon with a handle connected by a metal chain to a spiked head. It could be found in two (2) locations: (1) Waypoint Ruins and (2) Caelem Ruins in Caelid (dual mad pumpkin heads).
Underneath Caelem Ruins. Head down a staircase in the southeast corner of the ruins, just north of a large bonfire.
Location Found/Purchased. Mad Pumpkin Head Ashes can be obtained from the Minor Erdtree Catacombs. You'll need to beat the Erdtree Burial Watchdogs duo in the Catacombs to receive the ashes.
The Mad Pumpkin Head is an optional and recurrent boss that appears throughout Elden Ring, first in the South of Limgrave and then later in Caelem. It also appears as a standard enemy throughout the game.
First located in the south of Limgrave in the Waypoint Ruins Cellar, you'll need to head underground to find this boss. You'll also find the Mad Pumpkin Head out and about all over the Lands Between, so you'll need a solid strategy to bring it down.
The Soldier Of Godrick is one of the easier bosses in Elden Ring as he performs incredibly predictable and slow attacks with his heavy sword. If you're a melee player, you'll want to use your shield and perform counterattacks or dodge and attack when you spot an opening.
Crucible Knight
This one is in the stormhill Evergaol, and he has two phases to him. He can deal big damage and in his second phase, he actually uses holy attacks. Oh, he can fly too. This is likely to be one of the toughest enemies you face in the game, not just the first area.
Godrick The Grafted (Stormveil Castle)
Godrick the Grafted is the Lord of Stormveil Castle, and the main boss of Limgrave.
Recommended Level: 20. Optional Boss: Yes. Area: Limgrave, Waypoint Ruins. Closest Site of Grace: Agheel Lake South.
The easiest location to farm for the item, however, is at the Saintsbridge in northern Limgrave where you'll find a Mad Pumpkin Head enemy on the bridge right near the Site of Grace. Killing Mad Pumpkin Heads shouldn't pose too much of a problem.
There are two in Limgrave, one near the Agheel Lake North Grace and one near the Castle Morne Rampart Grace. The one found in Agheel Lake North drops 2,400 Runes and the Ash of War: Repeating Thrust when beaten while the other drops 3,400 Runes, the Ash of War: Barricade Shield, and Nightrider Flail.
The Lichdragon Fortissax secret boss can be found in the deepest parts of Deeproot Depths in Elden Ring. First, start Fia's questline. After giving the broken dagger to D, Hunter of the Dead, players must travel to Nokron and beat the Valiant Gargoyle boss. A coffin will spawn at the end of the boss room.
Many players claim that the terrifying Death Rite Birds are their least favorite bosses in Elden Ring, with several also mentioning the fight against the two Valiant Gargoyles. Crystalians are named a few times along with Erdtree Burial Watchdogs, probably because these two boss types can come in groups.
The list is unsurprisingly topped by the infamously difficult Elden Ring boss Malenia, whose encounter was attempted some 329 million times, thus accounting for 5.5% of all in-game boss fights the players initiated to date.
Typically, most people will fight Godrick the Grafted, since he's the first Shardbearer on the path. The easiest boss fight for your second Great Rune is Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon.
