People with blood type O are considered to be outgoing, go-getters, and daring. Blood type personality theory states that they usually set high standards for themselves, and they do all they can to achieve them.

Type O negative red blood cells are considered the safest to give to anyone in a life-threatening emergency or when there's a limited supply of the exact matching blood type. That's because type O negative blood cells don't have antibodies to A, B or Rh antigens.

People who have blood types A, B, and AB are up to 82 percent more likely to develop cognition and memory problems — which can lead to dementia — compared to those with Type O.
Why? O negative blood can be used in transfusions for any blood type. Type O is routinely in short supply and in high demand by hospitals – both because it is the most common blood type and because type O negative blood is the universal blood type needed for emergency transfusions and for immune deficient infants.
What's the rarest blood type? AB negative is the rarest of the eight main blood types - just 1% of our donors have it. Despite being rare, demand for AB negative blood is low and we don't struggle to find donors with AB negative blood.
Rh incompatibility occurs when a mother has Rh-negative blood and the baby has Rh-positive blood. The mother's body will produce an auto-immune response that attacks the fetus or newborn's blood cells as if they were a bacterial or viral invader.
If a woman who is Rh negative and a man who is Rh positive conceive a baby, the fetus may have Rh-positive blood, inherited from the father. (About half of the children born to an Rh-negative mother and Rh-positive father will be Rh-positive.)
If you are a positive blood group and your baby is a negative blood group there is no risk posed while you are pregnant.
People with type A blood will react against type B or type AB blood. People with type B blood will react against type A or type AB blood. People with type O blood will react against type A, type B, or type AB blood. People with type AB blood will not react against type A, type B, type AB, or type O blood.

Similar studies have linked different blood types to success in different kinds of sports. According to analysis done on Japanese athletes' data, type O tends to lead to athletes who are good at ball games, whereas the somewhat more self-absorbed traits associated with type B might promote success at solo sports.
Currently, no scientific evidence supports a cause-and-effect relationship between a person's blood type and personality traits. Even using current investigative methods, a 2021 study examining blood type and personality demonstrated no significant correlation.

Rh factor: Miscarriage can be caused because of the incompatibility of the mother's blood and the blood of the unborn foetus commonly known as Rh factor incompatibility. This type of miscarriage occur when the blood type of mother is Rh negative, and the foetus blood type is Rh positive.
