In tandem with the heart, lungs, and upper extremities, Anahata, the heart chakra, controls blood pressure, circulation, and the health of its coordinating organs.
People tend to hold their traumas in the Manipura chakra.
Root Chakra
The root chakra is located at the base of the perineum. It helps in making you feel physically secure, grounded, and enables strength and endurance. Physical imbalances in the root chakra include problems in the legs, feet, rectum, tailbone and immune system.
Signs your fourth is blocked
Symptoms of blocked energy can manifest as physical ailments or disease. The heart chakra directly affects the heart, lungs, chest, arms, and hands. When misaligned, poor circulation, high or low blood pressure, and other heart and lung conditions can result.
On the physical level, the spleen chakra activates energy for the kidneys, bladder, lower digestive tract and the sexual/reproductive organs, as well as the lumbar plexus. On a mental/emotional level, the spleen chakra is associated with emotions that impact relationships – sensuality, self-acceptance and intimacy.
A DEFICIENT SPLEEN CAN MEAN A DISTURBED SPIRIT
You can think of it like a personality: each organ's Spirit has a unique role and characteristics that come out when that organ is balanced or not. If imbalanced, we say the Spirit is vexed or disturbed. The Spleen's Spirit is called The Yi (“yee”).
Stay away from sugary foods and include plenty of naturally sweet veggies in your diet: long cooked onions, carrots, parsnips, squash, and sweet potatoes will all help nourish your Spleen with the right amount of sweetness.
Solar Plexus Chakra
It is connected to the digestive system and the adrenal glands. This chakra regulates our fears, sense of power, and gut feelings. When this chakra is out of balance we experience fears, eating disorders, anxiety, and loss of control.
The root chakra helps keep us feel safe and grounded. When the root chakra is imbalanced or blocked, you may feel anxious or fearful. This ungrounded feeling can make it difficult to fall asleep, and it can also show up in our dreams.
The fourth chakra is known as the heart chakra and is associated with love and compassion. It is located in the centre of the chest and not where the actual organ lies. This chakra is responsible for emotional healing and sound mental health.
The Muladhara Chakra is associated primarily with survival. Other emotions linked to the Root Chakra are: Feeling Safe. Feeling Secure.
Physical imbalances in the root chakra include problems in the legs, feet, rectum, tailbone, immune system, male reproductive parts and prostrate gland. Those with imbalances here are also likely to experience issues of degenerative arthritis, knee pain, sciatica, eating disorders, and constipation.
It is tied to inner wisdom and the cosmos. When unbalanced, the crown chakra is thought to influence depression, disconnection from the outside world, frustration, and destructive emotions.
The 4th Chakra, or heart chakra, is considered the center of the emotions love and grief.
Burnout is most closely associated with an imbalance in the manipura chakra, located in area of the solar plexus. The element associated with manipura is fire. The manipura chakra is also associated with our sense of efficacy, confidence, control, power, intellect, and vitality (Devi, 2020).
The animal designated to represent the Svadhishthana Chakra is the Crocodile. It symbolises laziness, insensitivity and the danger that slumbers in this Chakra.
Sacral Chakra – This energetic center is located inside the pelvis and is home to the energy of emotions, creativity, and sexuality. Blockages here can relate to anything from depression to addiction and general emotional instability.
For example, Seane says each chakra has a shadow emotion associated with it (first chakra is fear; second, guilt; third, shame; fourth, grief; fifth, lies; sixth, illusion; seventh, attachment) and certain asanas can help release the energy that might be trapped in the body as a result of stored emotional pain.
Too much stress, negative thinking, a lack of physical exercise, not enough sleep and an unhealthy diet are all leading contributors of a blocked chakra. And at the same time, too much of something good can also cause an imbalance in the energy body with an equally harmful effect on your health and well-being.
Timeline for Unblocking Each Chakra
Some might experience significant progress within a few weeks of dedicated practice, while others may need several months. Chakra healing is a personal journey, and the timeline can vary based on individual experiences and circumstances.
Worry is the emotion of the spleen/stomach/pancreas network, organs associated with the earth element. Too much pensiveness, worrying and insecurity can weaken our ability to digest – simply knot the energy. When we are worried to a state of anxiety, we find it hard to digest and accept a situation or life event.
Vitamin C would relieve the PFOA-reduced spleen index and white blood cells. Bioinformatic data suggested involvement in the spleen cell proliferation and immune response. Vitamin C had beneficial effect on the PFOA-altered spleen functions.
