COLORS FOR ENERGY
While yellow is the best energizing color for most people, there is no one color that has exactly the same effect on everyone. A lot of it depends on your personality-whether you're an introvert or an extrovert. Introverts benefit most from colors that excite-warm hues of yellows, oranges, and reds.
Warm colors, such as yellow, orange, pink, and red can motivate and energize us. However, if they're too intense, they can also be irritating. Cool colors, such as green, blue, and violet can have a calming effect on us.
Red is a colour associated with boldness, audaciousness and passion, it is a colour that shout and declares you anytime you put it on. It is not a color you wear to hide. Red gives an inner and instant boldness, it has a tendency to stimulate mind and attract attention.
Red can trigger anxiety in many people, and is known to be one of the most stressful colors to decorate with.
Blue – A highly peaceful color, blue can be especially helpful for stress management because it can encourage a powerful sense of calm.
Light Yellow for Happiness
There's a reason yellow is associated with cheeriness. "This yellow has a subtle, luminous quality that feels like warm sun rays and awakens all five senses," Kim says. "Yellow is a natural source of positive energy and sparks feelings of happiness."

New research claims that dark blue is the world's most relaxing colour. Research carried out by the University of Sussex and paper company G.F Smith, draws on a survey of 26,596 people, from more than 100 countries.
Most often, warm colors (yellow, red, and orange) are considered to be positive colors, while cool colors (blue, green, and purple) are considered to be negative.
The more light the object absorbs, the more heat absorbed since light is energy. If you consider it a color, black absorbs the most heat. A black object absorbs all wavelengths of light and reflects none. Objects that are white, on the other hand, reflect all wavelengths of light and therefore absorb the least heat.
Blue light has the strongest impact. Exposure to blue light (and white light, which contains blue light) during the sensitive period can make it difficult for you to fall asleep and stay asleep. Exposure to white light during the day can have positive effects, including boosting alertness and mood.
In our experience, bright purple, gray, brown, black, and red are the worst colors for sleep. Individals often associate gray, brown, and black with negative emotions, while purple and red can feel too active for a restful space.
Avoid dark colours
“Wearing darker colours around the eyes makes them look smaller” explains Maryam, “Whereas lighter colours open up the eyes and help you look more awake”. Opt for lighter cream eyeshadow shades, such as champagne and cream, as well as soft shimmers to help bring your eyes to life.
Blue. Though blue is a very basic and indeed a classic color, it is also a color that is very soothing to the mind and helps to reduce feelings of anxiety and stress.
Blue can calm your mind, slow your heart rate and lower your blood pressure, in turn reducing anxiety.
Pantone 448 C is a colour in the Pantone colour system. Described as a drab dark brown and informally dubbed the "ugliest colour in the world", it was selected in 2012 as the colour for plain tobacco and cigarette packaging in Australia, after market researchers determined that it was the least attractive colour.
Red. The colour most commonly associated with love, it makes sense to have this one up top. From blushed cheeks and ruby lips to love-hearts and roses, red is a fiery colour that conjures up feelings of passion and intensity.
Green is the color of nature; it emits a feeling of balance, harmony and growth. It signifies health, serenity, and tranquility. Like yellow, if you use the wrong shade it could show sickness.
