Sanemi in shock after killing his transformed mother. When Genya runs into the street to find a doctor for his grievously-injured siblings, he finds Sanemi with their mother lying dead at his feet.
5 Genya Shinazugawa
Genya was killed by the Upper Moon 1, Kokushibo, but not before helping the others take him down. As he was dying, his brother Sanemi regretted how strained their relationship have become, and wept as he begged the heavens to spare Genya.
In fan interpretation, Sanemi is often depicted as smitten with Kanae, and too frightened to make the first move, fearing she might reject him.
Sanemi's flaw is that he's too geniunely selfless, that it turns into self destruction, and self harm for Genya's sake. He wants to be the only one suffering alone, and he forgets that Genya never wanted that for him in the first place.
Sanemi's Wind-Breathing Is Too Similar To Akaza's Blood Demon Art. Although Sanemi Shinazugawa is arguably stronger than Iguro, he would've been a bad matchup against Akaza.
Sanemi's cold, rude, and dismissive behavior is the result of losing too many people he cared about in the past. Later, when he sees those people who have passed, such as his mother, he can't help but give her a smile to be able to see her again.
Shizuka is seen often teasing Sanemi and making him annoyed, nevertheless, the two had still created a strong bond and relationship with each other. Eventually, after knowing each other for a while, Shizuka finally ended up having the courage and confessed, leading to them getting married after awhile.
Sanemi was angry with Genya joining the Demon Slaying Corps as that would've made all his work and dedications to his job pointless- he joined so that Genya could have a normal, happy life, yet there he was; risking his life trying to apologize to Sanemi about something that he had already been long forgiven for.
MuiTan is the slash ship between Muichiro Tokito and Tanjiro Kamado from the Demon Slayer fandom.
The Wind Hashira has one of the saddest backstories in Demon Slayer. His mother had turned into a demon and had killed five of his siblings. He was forced to kill his own mother in an attempt to save his only remaining brother, Genya.
In the simplest terms, the reason that Genya can't use Breathing Styles stems from his inability to achieve the total concentration breathing that other demon slayers use in order to access their abilities.
Giyu Tomioka Fulfilled His Promise to Protect Tanjiro
The Water Hashira, Giyu, survived the "Infinity Castle" arc after fighting beside Tanjiro against Akaza and Muzan. Though his sword was snapped by Akaza, and he lost an arm to Muzan, Giyu fought with Tanjiro and his fellow Hashira with everything he had.
Sanemi and Giyuu are married and live in hollowed out tree near a bunch of glowy mushrooms. Sanemi works at a construction site while Giyuu is a humble fisher. They're friends with a butterfly named Shinobu and will sometimes invite her over for a cup of tea.
Genya Safin is a Tailor, a hybrid Grisha who has the power to alter people's appearances. Because of her unique gifts she has been placed in service to the Queen of Ravka, a situation that has isolated her from other Grisha and made her an outcast among her own people.
Sanemi and Gyomei barely escape the onslaught, with Sanemi losing his index and middle fingers in his right in the process. Sanemi shames himself for not being able to react in time to avoid the attack.
Genya is moved to tears and apologized after hearing Sanemi's reasoning behind his rudeness. After their battle with Kokushibou, Genya apologized again for blaming Sanemi and thanked his brother for protecting him before succumbing to his wounds and crumbling into dust, leaving Sanemi stricken with grief.
He tells him that he will allow Tanjiro and Nezuko to join the Corps. But five of the Hashira are unable to accept this decision right away. The wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa, slashes his own arm and taunts Nezuko with his blood, trying to get her show her true colors as a demon.
UzuKyo is the slash ship between Tengen Uzui and Kyojuro Rengoku from the Demon Slayer fandom.
Physically, she is far weaker than Rengoku. She doesn't have enough strength to decapitate a demon's head but she makes up for it in her ability to craft lethal poison.
Demon Slayer has peculiar characters with incredible strength, skill, and presence. But, among this group of eccentric people, Kyojuro Rengoku still stands out from his colleagues due to his upright and exceptional bright personality. Yet, his fiery hair is also one of the biggest reasons he stands out.
For someone only 21 years of age, Sanemi has a lot of pent-up anger, but his hatred for demons is justified. Despite his age, one could mistake Sanemi for a teenager with too foul of a mouth and too short a temper.
Post-Transformation
Sensing their despair, Doma offered a chance to him and turned both Gyutaro and Daki into demons.
Both the characters possess immense speed and endurance, and they also can take on an Upper Rank demon head-on. However, Sanemi is superior to Giyu as he has an arsenal of tricks like strong control over his muscles and closing his wounds mid-battle without any medical help.
