Some people theorized this was a genetic trait, but some theorized that Socks was autistic. Despite Bluey having a crib in Baby Race, Socks had a dog bed in Verandah Santa. This may indicate that this happens often.
Jack, one of Bluey's school mates, is portrayed as having attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Last season we saw the introduction of Dougie, a non-speaking pup who uses Auslan. Meanwhile, Bluey's school friend, Jack, shows many tell-tale signs of ADHD. Both of these characters appeared on the show without it missing a beat. Their disabilities weren't made a deal of, or even mentioned.
Trivia. He loves condensed milk. He is the first known character to be neurodivergent, in his case he has ADHD.
Jack and Rusty
In the episode, "Army", Jack explains to Rusty that he has issues paying attention and remembering things, referencing to his ADHD. In response, Rusty tells him he's good at playing the titular game, which boosts Jack's confidence.
Recent episodes have subtly hinted at potential health issues for Bingo, leading many viewers to speculate that she may be dealing with Coeliac Disease, an autoimmune condition affecting approximately 1 in 70 Australians and causing adverse reactions to gluten consumption.
He said yes: “'The Show' indeed does point at Chilli having a miscarriage.” In his response to Oderberg, Brumm said that in the episode, Chilli passes down her coping strategy to Bingo. He was inspired by a person who had a miscarriage and had to “pick herself up and keep going” to take care of her children.
This is where Dougie makes his grand debut, along with his mom (voiced by Miranda Tapsell). Right away we learn that Dougie is deaf and communicates with his mother using Auslan (Australian sign language).
One of the world's most beloved children's shows Bluey has introduced its first deaf character, named Dougie, who uses Auslan to communicate. But the groundbreaking character comes with its set of challenges - most Auslan signs require five fingers and the dogs in Bluey have only four.
And another added: "In the new Bluey episode Dragon confirms that Chilli's mum has passed which is crazy that the 'Chilli's mum is dead' theory is actually true."
It is clear to me, and apparently many others on Bluey fan Wiki, that Jack, the protagonist of this episode, has ADHD, and I've never seen the story of an ADHD kid told like this.
Bluey new character, Dougie, is deaf
er dogs. And although Dougie is deaf, the parallels with Bluey show how alike he is to any other kid.
Even though Bluey is blue, Bluey is a girl. That's because Bluey and Bandit are Blue Heeler dogs, so she looks like her dad. Bingo and Chilli, meanwhile, are the Red Heeler breed, so their fur is cream, orange and reddish-brown.
Bluey has ADHD. And she cannot focus long enough on a task to be able to play a game with her family.
Kids TV show Bluey has been applauded by parents for tackling the issue around dads who find it hard to share their emotions.
The children who voice Bluey, Bingo and other child characters in Bluey are kids of the production staff who choose to stay uncredited to remain anonymous.
"As other mums have said, it's implied that Missy is adopted/fostered. Shows her with a mum that's a different type of dog.
According to Guinness World Records, Bluey (1910–1939) lived to 29 years, 5 months before being euthanised. At that time she was the oldest lived dog ever verified. Three owners had also made claims for longer-lived dogs—Max, Maggie, and Bella—however these claims have not been independently verified.
Due to her young age, she has trouble understanding what she does wrong like biting Bluey, but can also be quite sensitive too. By Season 2, Socks can walk and talk like the rest of her family, but still has a few dog-like traits.
My Journey
This confirmation comes thanks to the book Hard to Bear: Investigating the Science and Silence of Miscarriage, by Isabelle Oderberg. The author reached out to Bluey's creator, Joe Brumm, who confirmed that the famous scene was in fact a nod to Chilli's miscarriage, reports the Gotta Be Done podcast.
This has led to uninformed viewers questioning if the characters are boys or girls. Pearson has credited the decision of Bluey and Bingo being girls to resemble the real families of Brumm, Aspinwall and McCormack.
Biography. Muffin is Bluey's non-stop cousin who always speaks her mind. She is the daughter of Stripe and Trixie, the sister of Socks, the cousin of Bluey and Bingo, the niece of Chilli and Bandit, and the granddaughter of Bob and Nana.
“Onesies” A visit from Chilli's sister Brandy prompts Bluey to ask about why she stayed away for so long. This brings about one of the saddest revelations in the show.
Throughout the episode Onesies, it is heavily implied that Brandy has fertility problems, meaning that she may not be able to have children of her own, which may have caused her and Chilli's argument prior to Bluey's Big Play.
Bingo is Bluey's younger sister. She's 4 years old, and a red heeler like her mum. Bingo also likes to play but she is a bit quieter than Bluey, so is more likely to be the customer than the shop owner. Sometimes though, when Bluey asks her to be the doctor, rather than the patient, she really enjoys it.
