For divorce (see Table 2), in 2021 the lowest crude rates in the EU were registered in Malta (0.6 divorces per 1 000 persons) and Slovenia (1.1). By contrast, divorce rates were highest in Lithuania (2.8 divorces per 1 000 persons), Latvia (2.5) and Sweden (2.3).

Vietnam has the lowest divorce rate in the world, with 0.2 divorces per 1,000 people. Sri Lanka follows at 0.2 divorces per 1,000 people, and Peru comes in third with 0.2 divorces per 1,000 people.

Queensland has the highest divorce rate in Australia with the statistics suggesting Queenslanders have the highest crude divorce rate, and the state has held that title for many years!
The increased divorce rate in Australia in 2021 has led to rising rates across all age categories. The percentage distribution between age groups was consistent with prior years. Men aged 40 to 44 and 45 to 49 had the most effective divorce rate, with 10.3 divorces per 1,000 men in both age categories.
Tas. Mirroring marriage rates, New South Wales and Queensland had the highest numbers of divorces granted. Queensland had the largest crude divorce rate of any state in Australia, averaging 2.6 divorces per 1,000 residents.

Guatemala has the lowest divorce rate out of all the countries globally, boasting only 0.3 divorces for every 1,000 population. The law in Guatemala allows marriages for girls of 14 and boys of 16-18 years old.
Ethnicity is one of the notable predictors of divorce. For instance, Asian Americans have traditionally shown the lowest divorce rates of all other races. Currently, it's 12.4 divorces per 1,000 people, with at least one divorce for 18% of Asian American women and 16% of men.
Catholic. According to the data by the Pew Research Center, Catholics had one of the lowest incidences of divorce, with 19% having been divorced out of 4,752 interviewed. Even with such a large survey group, the margin of error is still quite small at around +/-1.5%.
