Castle attendants and her friends discover her bleeding profusely from a lethal wound to the head. In her last moments, Aylee weakly declares that it is time for her to go home and dies, leaving her friends to bewail her loss. Nostradamus' foretelling that Aylee would never return home thus comes to pass.
However, her husband's power-grabbing nature soon resurfaced and drove Lola away from him, all the way to English court. Lola found an unforeseen friend in Queen Elizabeth for a while, until she betrayed Elizabeth on what she thought was an order from her Queen. Lady Lola was thereafter beheaded for treason.
Mary has promised to protect her and the others. Recently, Lola slept with Francis betraying Mary causing their friendship to fall apart.
After years of unrest, Mary's life came to an end as Elizabeth had her beheaded, leaving Mary to reunite with Francis in the afterlife.
After 19 years of imprisonment, Mary, Queen of Scots is beheaded at Fotheringhay Castle in England for her complicity in a plot to murder Queen Elizabeth I.
John Philip is the illegitimate son born to his father, King Francis, and his mother, Lady Lola. He has been given lands and titles, including Baron of Velay. He lost his father to a gang of Scottish assassins and his mother was decapitated not long after, making him an orphan. He is now being raised at French court.
When Francis died, Mary returned to Scotland and ruled there. She married Lord Darnley and soon gave birth to his child, Prince James.
The marriage produced no children, and may never even have been consummated, possibly due to Francis's illnesses or undescended testicles.

Lola gave birth to King Francis' first and only child, John Philip. Queen Mary agreed to be a Godmother to their child. King Francis officially recognized their son and conferred him the title of Baron, with lands and a chateau.

Queen Mary learns that Lady Lola is pregnant with Prince Francis's illegitimate child, and stops her from getting an abortion that could kill her.
Jean is the illegitimate son of Francis II and Lola Narcisse. He was officially claimed by his father in The Lamb and the Slaughter, receiving the title of 1st Baron of Velay. He returned to French Court from English Court in Leaps of Faith, where he had been with his mother when she was Elizabeth's prisoner.

Francis and Mary later went on to become king and queen of France, and Mary returned to Scotland only when Francis died of an infection. His death left Mary a widow at the age of 18. Bash ends up married to Kenna as a result of his father's machinations but maintains a friendship with Mary. Once his marriage crumbles, however, his time on the show shrinks. The last the audience sees of Bash is him deciding to travel with Mary when she wants to return to Scotland.
The son of Mary, Queen of Scots, and Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley, James became king of Scotland as an infant when his mother abdicated. When Elizabeth I died in 1603, James became king of England and moved there with his family.
Rose has since been moved to Scotland and lives with her mother Greer under the protection of Mary Stuart.
Sebastian goes to get Mary Stuart and Francis to witness his wedding to Kenna. During the ceremony Kenna complained to Henry II that he had promised her someone with land and title. Henry gave Bash the bogus title of "Master of Horse and Hunt" then forces them to take their vows.
An attempt on her life brings Lola closer to Narcisse, as she suspects Catherine was behind it and believes that Narcisse can protect her. Narcisse continues to pursue Lola and insists on marriage, not because of him, but because he knows marriage is important to her.
In the 2013-2017 CW television series Reign, the character Lady Lola Fleming, played by Anna Popplewell, is based on Mary Fleming. In the 2018 film Mary Queen of Scots, Mary Fleming is played by actress Maria-Victoria Dragus.
