On Riddle's command, the Basilisk stared at Myrtle, and her eyes met with the monster's. Since looking at a Basilisk's eyes was a fatal act, Myrtle's body fell to the bathroom floor. Tom (Lord Voldemort) used her murder to make his first Horcrux: the Diary. Myrtle's body was later found by Hornby.
Myrtle's life was cut shockingly short when she was killed by the Basilisk at Tom Riddle's command.
On her final day of life, Myrtle was teased by student Olive Hornby. She had made fun of Myrtle's glasses and, as a result, left Myrtle sobbing.
Shirley Henderson has been most widely-seen as Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter films- 2002's "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" and 2005's "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." Henderson's tiny frame and raspy voice have led to her frequent casting as introverted eccentrics.

Moaning Myrtle
Born in the late 1920s to Muggle parents, Myrtle Warren started her Hogwarts life in the early 1940s, where she was sorted into Ravenclaw. She had no friends, and was bullied relentlessly because of her glasses and acne.
Percival Dumbledore (fl. 1881) was a wizard, the husband of Kendra Dumbledore and the father of Albus, Aberforth, and Ariana Dumbledore. After attacking three male Muggles who assaulted Ariana, he was sentenced to Azkaban. Percival died there sometime later after 1890.
Myrtle is shown to have a crush on Harry throughout the series. In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the bathroom scene shows her acting sexually towards Harry.
Riddle ultimately changed his name, by way of an anagram, from "Tom Marvolo Riddle" to "I am Lord Voldemort", as a way of removing his own heritage and of exalting himself, and he killed the Riddle family, partly because they were Muggles, and partly because they abandoned him and his mother.
Tom Riddle didn't "accidentally" kill Myrtle—he MURDERED her. He sicced the Basilisk on her because she was muggleborn. Tom never felt bad about murdering anyone.

The Head of Slytherin is Horace Slughorn (who left the role to Severus Snape for fifteen years before taking it up again in 1996) and the House's patron ghost is the Bloody Baron.
Horace Slughorn (1997 - present) Horace, after being convinced by Dumbledore and Harry Potter, returned to Hogwarts as the Potions master. After Severus killed Dumbledore and became headmaster of Hogwarts, it was decided that Horace was to become the Head of Slytherin House once again.
When Rowena was thirteen years old, she was married to Thomas Ravenclaw, son of Edmund Ravenclaw, Duke of Sussex. The marriage was arranged through Rowena's aunt Morgause Mac Alpin.
