The Bloody Baron: Slytherin house ghost
A hot-tempered sort of fellow, who was responsible for the death of the Grey Lady, aka Helena Ravenclaw. In his living days, he was simply known as The Baron.
Why is Peeves not shown in the Harry Potter movies? He was actually filmed but David Heyman thought it is not to his liking so Peeves was left out from the final cut. This was from the deleted scene from the first movie. The actor didn't know that he was left out until he saw the movie.

The filmmakers ultimately decided not to give Voldemort red eyes, because they felt that one wouldn't be able to read the emotion in the eyes if they were modified, and therefore the character wouldn't be scary enough.
