Madara Uchiha was the biggest traitor in the history of the Hidden Village, and that is shown throughout most of the series after the time skip. After being one of the founding members of the village, he went on to manipulate multiple events throughout history to achieve his goals and become as powerful as he could be.
Itachi was loyal to his village and carried the Will of Fire. He was branded as a criminal for his actions, but eventually, he saved everyone and became the unsung hero. Itachi never had any other way around to prevent this catastrophe, which ultimately made him the traitor of his clan.
Although he changed his views mid fight in the fourth ninja wars, that would also cause his demise. In an attempt to save Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi, Obito Uchiha sacrifices his own life and gets killed by Kaguya Otsutsuki.
Black Zetsu betrayed Madara towards the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War in order to revive Kaguya. It worked from the shadows, so no one could find out its true motives. Black Zetsu was devoid of any emotions, and this made it ruthless.
Not only was he nearly killed by the Fifth Mizukage, Mei Terumi, but shortly afterward, he was also almost turned to dust by Onoki using his Dust Release Kekkei Tota.
Even against the five great Kages, Madara didn't even break a sweat. Very few, if anyone, could surpass Madara in power and in Shinobi abilities. He was also secretly behind most of the conflicts in the series, making Madara the true main villain of Naruto.
Gaara fights Deidara to protect the village, but is defeated. The members of the Akatsuki then kidnap him and extract Shukaku from his body. Gaara dies in the process but an elder from the village named Chiyo sacrifices her own life to revive him.
Obito's hate for the Uchiha was simply a result of Madara's animosity towards the clan, as they had betrayed him long ago and had decided to side with the Senju-led government.
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki
Because of her ancient nature, Kaguya is very powerful, too, able to enact her wicked plots with little resistance, establishing her as the most evil villain in Naruto history.
When the Uchiha wanted to revolt for being mistreated, Itachi was given the option to fight with the clan, or to kill them all and protect his brother. Choosing his brother, Itachi betrayed all the other members of his clan, including his parents and friends, and bore the burden of the village on his shoulders.
In the Naruto series, Sasuke became a traitor to Konoha after abandoning the village to join Orochimaru, tempted by the renegade shinobi's promise of power.
1) Itachi Uchiha
Undoubtedly one of the most tragic characters in Naruto, Itachi Uchiha shouldered the burden of killing his own brethren to stop a coup d'état in the Uchiha clan, orchestrated by his own father.
Itachi wasn't strong, he was super smart. Obito feared his smartness. He knew Itachi would destroy any plan of obito as long as he's alive. Obito was not afraid of dying, he was just afraid of his plan getting ruined.
In a short time span, Tobi became an integral member of the Akatsuki and a close partner of Deidara, as the two were sent on several missions for the organization. Even though Tobi's initial childlike persona was due to Guruguru, Obito kept the guise simply to present himself a benign entity to the Akatsuki.
Obito knows Kakashi wouldn't just kill Rin. Kakashi needed a good reason. Rin accepted it and Obito saw her accept it through Kakashi's eye. Hence, he never resented Kakashi himself but rather the world that created this situation and forced Rin to commit suicide.
Unfortunately, despite the Konoha leader's efforts, the series took a major casualty in Episode 218 by killing off its most powerful hero. While a lot of fans were concerned that Naruto died in Boruto, the sacrifice was actually made by the Nine Tails Demon Fox, Kurama.
When the Akatsuki leader, Pain, invades Konoha, Kakashi engages him in battle, and dies from exhausting all his energy.
Naruto defeats Pain with his final Rasengan, removing his Chakra Receivers before heading to Nagato's location, having Katsuya tell the others not to follow as Sakura finishes healing Hinata. Naruto encounters Inoichi and Shikaku on the way, the latter honoring Naruto's request to stand down to Inoichi's dismay.
Zabuza Momochi (in Japanese: 桃地再不斬, Momochi Zabuza) is the first major antagonist from the manga and anime series Naruto. He acts as the central antagonist in the Land of Waves arc.
