As adults, despite their queen, Freya forbidding love as weakness, Eric and Sara fall in love. They 'marry' each other in a cave and consummate their relationship, intending to run away together.
The Huntsman professes his regret for being unable to save her, as her heart and strength remind him of his wife, Sara. He kisses her yet does not notice a second tear fall from her eyes, as two kisses of true love breaks the spell. Snow White awakens and rallies the Duke's army to mount a siege against Ravenna.
It is revealed in the second film that William and Snow White married. for the safety of the kingdom, he seeks out Eric the Huntsman to bring the Mirror to the Sanctuary, concerned over the negative influence the Mirror's dark power is having on his wife and the rest of their people.

Sometime after Freya gives birth to a baby girl, Freya discovers that Andrew not only reneged on his promise of elopement with her but also murdered their child.
She was believed to be dead by her husband Eric in Snow White and the Huntsman, but is revealed to be alive in the prequel/sequel. Sara is portrayed by Jessica Chastain.
Only when the Huntsman gives her the kiss does she wake up and suddenly she grows the biggest pair of marbles ever, reinvigorating her with enough energy to rally the Duke and his men in a final battle against Ravenna and her army. In the end it's Snow White versus Ravenna in a fight to the finish.
Once Regina explains that she is in love with whats-his-horse, Snow is no longer sad to be losing her two-day-old new mother, or that this woman is seemingly betraying her beloved father. NO. Instead, she's happy for her and keeps the lover's secret (or at least she intends to).

Rose Red appears in the Brothers Grimm's 17th century fairy tale Snow-White and Rose-Red, with her and her sister both depicted as demure in nature, but is absent from the German authors' unrelated 1812 story Snow White, on which Disney's animated film is based and which features a different heroine.
While in the film, she was killed off much earlier where after being chased by the dwarfs towards a cliff, she then falls down to her death when lightning strikes the cliff ledge. In the fairy tale, The Queen was returning back to the castle to reveal herself, and she asked the magic mirror the same question as usual.
Answer: When the Evil Queen had learned from her Magic Mirror that Snow White will be the fairest of them all, she orders an unnamed Huntsman to take Snow White into the deepest woods to be killed. ...
He asks to take her back to her father's castle. During the journey, one of the men carrying the coffin trips, and the piece of poisoned apple is dislodged from Snow White's throat. She instantly wakes up, and she and the prince are married.
It's clear that both William and the huntsman have eyes for Snow White. She gets a couple of kisses, and a dwarf has a crush on her. Violence/Gore: This fairy tale isn't for kids. It's dark and violent, with a high body count and scenes of Snow White being chased through a grim forest.
Ravenna argues with her sister, eventually revealing that she had asked the Magic Mirror who the fairest in the land was, and the Mirror told her that Freya's daughter would grow to be more beautiful than her. Thus, she cursed the Duke and forced him to kill their baby.
Hence, Ravenna forged the secret letter to lure Freya away from her daughter's side, and slipped into the Duke's room, where she cast a mind-control spell on him, handed him a flaming torch and ordered him to kill her niece.
Ravenna the Evil Queen is the older sister of Freya the Ice Queen. She was killed by Eric at the end of The Huntsman: Winter's War by the destruction of the mirror. She is also at the Golden Empire after she was summoned out by Snow White bringing Doreena's Heart to the mirror. Ravenna could not be defeated by anyone.
However, ultimately, their relationship remains platonic and Snow White eventually marries William. Snow White looks for Eric at her coronation and they smile at one another.
Freya is the secondary antagonist of the 2016 film The Huntsman: Winter's War. Her siblings are Queen Ravenna and huntsman Finn.
