Her body has physical limitations and is only as durable as a human body can be. Her use of magic also drains her physically and is quite exhausting for her as is seen during Multiverse of Madness. She is vulnerable to all attacks and bullets and was easily injured by Proxima Midnight during the attack on Vision.
In Doctor Strange 2, Black Bolt's mouth was removed by Scarlet Witch. Panicked, Black Bolt tied to speak, causing his brain to implode from the power of his own voice, which was still destructive as ever. However, Black Bolt would likely have annihilated Wanda with a single word.
The title of the strongest Avenger is what Thor clings to, but in Wanda's case, the strongest does not refer to physical might. Wanda could never be physically stronger than Hulk, Thor, or Captain Marvel. However, the power that she does possess allows her to supersede and exceed her fellow Avengers abilities.
Wanda Maximoff (better known as her superhero alter-ego, the Scarlet Witch) is arguably the most powerful sorcerer/magic user in the entire Marvel Universe. The Scarlet Witch's magic abilities are practically limitless, ranging from mind control or creating illusions to full-on telekinesis and shooting hex bolts.
During the series, she encounters the evil Declan Dane, the Emerald Warlock, who declares himself Wanda's arch-enemy.
While Odin is the god with the power originally. Odin knows magic just as well as Wanda does, shown through his enchantments, and some of his feats. Odin wins, unless he falls into the odinsleep.
Although characters like Magneto and Storm can beat MCU's Wanda in a fight, Scarlet Witch's powers in the comics can only be compared to a handful of other Marvel characters. That short list includes Kevin MacTaggert, also known as Proteus, an energy-hungry mutant whose body cannot contain the amount of power he has.
This revelation sheds light on how Wanda uses her powers, and she needs her sense of sight to control her hexes. If there's one superhero who can totally beat her, it would be Spider-Man. Remember when the Webslinger covered his foe's entire face with his web? That is one of his signature moves!
Wanda was still a formidable adversary, capable of tipping the scales in favor of Ultron (James Spader) or the Avengers, depending on who she was helping. Still, without her Chaos Magic from Marvel Comics, Wanda was not more powerful than Thor or Hulk.
Black Bolt's signature power is his voice, as his electron-harnessing ability is linked to the speech center of his brain. Speaking triggers a massive disturbance in the form of a highly destructive shockwave capable of leveling a city.
Black Bolt's Scream can destroy planets at full strength, as shown in Inhumans Vol. 2 #6 from 1999, while his whisper can rock a literal battleship. Overall, his scream also depends on his emotional state – if he is really upset, his scream can get even stronger.
But, the most devastating of the effects is Black Bolt's quasi-sonic scream. Because his electron-harnessing ability is linked to the speech center of his brain, any attempt to use his vocal cords triggers an uncontrollable disturbance of the particle/electron interaction field.
Back when Wanda Maximoff was considered a mutant, she was never given a classification. However, after she was retconned to not be one, X-Man created the Age of X-Man where everyone is a mutant and Wanda is referenced as an Omega mutant.
To Be All Alone
There's little doubt that this is Wanda's greatest fear, as she's had to deal with it from the beginning of her time in the MCU. She couldn't deal with the prospect of being all alone when the events of Westview took place, projecting her fear into every person in the town.
Godzilla is crazy strong she isn't. Godzilla's atomic breathe will one shot Wanda and if he misses the radiation might still get her.
However, things could go the other way around too, with the red superhero throwing Scarlet Witch off her game with his words and getting the best of her. That being said, the latter's powers are beyond the merc's control, so it's safe to say Wanda will take down Deadpool with The Darkhold.
1) Doctor Strange
Additionally, Doctor Strange's years of training have made him an expert combatant, able to adapt to any situation quickly. It's no wonder he is considered one of the most powerful Avengers and a worthy opponent for Scarlet Witch.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness proves without a shadow of a doubt that Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, would and does beat Doctor Strange. Strange puts up a good fight, but it's not the good Doctor who stops Wanda.
The source of Wanda's unnatural abilities stem from a two-fold base; unparalleled mastery of actual magic and an innate power to warp reality. Due to exposure to mystic energies and forces at an early age, Wanda may reshape reality to various extremes.
Scarlet Witch is indeed powerful and has overpowered magical abilities that make her a threat in both the comics and the MCU. But the thing is that Dark Phoenix is a threat to the entire universe as her powers are cosmic-level. In that regard, it is easy to see why Dark Phoenix is the more powerful character.
The power of the Scarlet Witch is such that even gods from various comic stories would struggle to battle her at the height of her abilities.
7 CANNOT BEAT: Zeus
All things considered, Scarlet Witch might just be out of her element in this fight, as Zeus is an actual god while she's a person who derived her powers from the Mind Stone.
Thor could beat Wanda in an arm wrestling contest, but Thor is still susceptible to Wanda's mind powers. And we've seen that before, in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In the movie, Thor literally brags about how mighty he is, only to find himself stepping into Wanda's illusion and getting psyched out from it.
Wanda Mastered Her Powers After Clashing with Thanos
Before Multiverse of Madness, she was strong but not that powerful. That's why the Infinity Stones-powered Thanos could withstand Wanda's attack in Wakanda and then defeat her and destroy Vision.
