When Obi-Wan tells Yoda that Luke is their “last hope,” Yoda says, “No. There is another.” While the events of Return of the Jedi suggest this “other” person was Leia, it's also possible Yoda was referring to Rey.
He leaves Luke with the knowledge that "there is another Skywalker." Moments later, Obi-Wan's ghost helps Luke come to the realization that the "other" of whom Yoda spoke is his twin sister, Princess Leia.
Over a century later, Yoda took on the human Dooku as his last known Padawan in the era of the Galactic Republic. In 90 BBY, Yoda undertook a visit to Serenno with other Jedi Masters and younglings Sifo Dyas, and Dooku.
Because of the prophecy of the one who would bring balance — the Son of Suns. It appeared to be Anakin, but once he turned they felt it could apply to his children. They would have chosen Luke then because he's a son.
Obi-wan hopes for someone to save Anakin's soul. And for that purpose, Luke truly is his last hope, as Leia would never seek to redeem Vader.
While it's not likely that Yoda was actually talking about Rey, the line could have still been laying the groundwork for the next generation of Force users and Rey's role. After all, we know Yoda can foresee future events. Perhaps Luke trained Rey to be a Jedi at Yoda's urging.
Theory 1: Leia Doesn't Remember Ben Is Obi-Wan
Throughout her encounters with Kenobi in the series, he refers to himself as Ben. The most straightforward explanation would be that Leia knows the person who rescued her is Ben, and never connected the dots that Ben is actually Obi-Wan.
So to confirm what he really wants, he gives Grogu a choice, he can either go back to his father and live with him, if he wants, or continue the training. And since Grogu wanted to go back to Din, it proved Luke's point that perhaps Grogu doesn't wanna be a jedi after all and would rather live with Din.
However, Yoda in his self-imposed exile, decided not to wield a lightsaber anymore. Skywalker offers the lightsaber to Grogu. After Yoda's death in 4 ABY, the lightsaber with its accompanying storage box ended up in the possession of Yoda's last Jedi apprentice, Luke Skywalker.
Anakin Skywalker, in one last digged-effort, before his imprisonment as Darth Vader for the next 23 years, cries out for help. He yearns for his beloved Padme, with the words, “Padme, help me.”
Yoda confronted Sidious in the heart of the Senate chambers. This erupted into an intense duel between these masters of the Force, a fight that Yoda ultimately lost and was forced to flee. With the Galactic Empire triumphant, Yoda and Obi-Wan were the last of the Jedi.
Legend had it that Yoda—a Jedi who became Grand Master—was trained by N'Kata Del Gormo. A Force-sensitive Hysalrian, N'Kata Del Gormo was trained in the ways of the Force and achieved the rank of Master within the Jedi Order.
The second time Yoda mentions his long life is in Return of the Jedi, when he tells Luke, “When you reach 900 years old, you will not look as good as you will.” If we take Yoda at his word, that means the Jedi Master died at the ripe old age of 900.
While the Shaman of the Whills was not there to carry on his teachings, Qui-Gon was able to pass on his knowledge of immortality to Master Yoda. He instructed Yoda to meet with the five Force Priestesses: Serenity, Joy, Anger, Confusion, and Sadness.
It is noted as being a former "Sith nexus" that's very strong with the Force, particularly "the Dark Side", and being chosen by Jedi Yoda as the planet to go into exile on to mask his presence and avoid discovery by the Galactic Empire.
Anticipating Solo's arrival, Darth Vader and Boba Fett had already forced Lando to betray Han and Princess Leia. Lando agreed to turn Han over in return for a guarantee that the Empire would leave Cloud City alone.
In truth, the Sith normally wielded enough powers to fight without a lightsaber, but every apprentice still learned to use one as part of his or her training. Sidious himself felt that he and his peers had outgrown the use of lightsabers, and only continued carrying them to mock the Jedi.
However, Yoda eventually lost his weapon when he dueled the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious in the Senate Building. When Sidious unleashed bolts of energy to disarm him, the Jedi Master lost his lightsaber, which fell to the ground below.
Battling in the Republic Senate, Yoda's duel with Palpatine culminated in the diminutive Jedi losing his lightsaber before being blasted back by the Sith lord's lightning, retreating and being rescued by Senator Bail Organa. The lightsaber here is lost.
Grogu will likely never become a real Jedi. After being given an impossible choice by Luke Skywalker in Boba Fett Episode 6, Grogu chooses to leave Yoda's lightsaber behind and join his surrogate father Mando (aka Din Djarin) once again.
His powers were exponentially greater than any other Jedi his age, and he was even able to best Count Dooku and Mace Windu, two far older and more experienced Force users. Some theories suggest that Anakin had a soft spot for Grogu, and because he had the appearance of a baby, Anakin intentionally let him live.
It is controlled by two technicians, one who operates the eyes and mouth and another who controls other facial expressions. There are several stand-in versions for Grogu used in filming in addition to the primary puppet. The crew of The Mandalorian wanted to use animatronics for Grogu as often as possible.
Darth Vader didn't learn he had a daughter until Return of the Jedi, when he stood before Emperor Palpatine. The Emperor's power probed Luke's mind, attempting to goad him to fall to the dark side, and he discovered Leia's existence.
A Skywalker by blood, Leia Organa is known to be Force sensitive.
Obi-Wan greets R2-D2 and later recalls “not owning a droid.” Obi-Wan purposely withheld information from Luke in order to keep Luke from straying away. This could offer an explanation as to why he appears to not know who R2-D2 is. Further in Empire Strikes Back, neither Yoda nor Darth Vader recognizes either droid.
