1. Dracule Mihawk. Dracule Mihawk, better known as Hawk Eyes, is recognized as the “World's Greatest Swordsman” in One Piece right now. Being the best swordsman of his generation, his swordsmanship skills are unmatched.
Also known as the Pirate Hunter, and famed for his usage of the Santoryu in One Piece, Roronoa Zoro is the combatant of the Strawhat Pirates and is second to Luffy in terms of strength.
Dracule Mihawk is Zoro's biggest rival, being the man who holds the title of the World's Strongest Swordsman.
Roronoa Zoro
Zoro is the Straw Hat's primary swordsman and is the man aiming to be the world's strongest swordsman. While he has certainly come far, he has a long way to go. In Zoro's most recent fight, he defeated King, surpassing him in strength by gaining further mastery over his newly attained Conqueror's Haki.
Mihawk outclassed Zoro when the two fought over Baratie, and even now, he is superior to the straw hat swordsman in terms of skill. On the Sabaody archipelago, Rayleigh fought Kizaru and hit him in battle and even wounded him during the battle.
Ryuma was well-regarded in Wano Country for his immense mastery of swordsmanship. At some point in time after his death, he came to be known as the "Sword God" (刀神様, Tōjin-sama?) in Wano, with his skills continuing to be regarded as legendary even centuries after his death.
In zoro vs luffy, luffy has greater will, greater haki and pretty much everything. Zoro loses easily.
He and Jimbei are currently the only known Seven Warlords who do not have Devil Fruit powers.
And as you can already guess, Zoro is confirmed to be a descendant of the Shimotsuki family. Who is Zoro's father? Roronoa Arashi is confirmed to be the father of our beloved swordsman, Roronoa Zoro.
Luffy frees himself from the rubble of the collapsed wall and begins to attack Mihawk with a Gomu Gomu no Jet Bazooka, but he foresees both his arms getting cut off by Mihawk's sword, prompting him to rapidly redirect his arms.
Over the years, he has come a long way and become one of the strongest pirates on the seas. Zoro has attained terrific strength, but he does not rely on a Devil Fruit at all. However, had Zoro eaten a Devil Fruit, there are some that would suit him more than others.
Zoro has the attack power, but he needs more durability. He also needs to fully master his Conqueror's Haki, which is difficult to do in One Piece. By the time he becomes the World's Greatest Swordsman, Zoro will definitely be on Kaido's level.
Against Shanks, even if Luffy possesses weaker Haki, the Devil Fruit abilities of the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika can make up for the deficit and see him emerge victorious. Currently, however, Shanks is likely stronger than Luffy, simply due to the fact that the plot demands that of him.
Shanks can also send powerful shockwaves from his Conqueror's Haki alone. Both fighters would have to give it their 100% best if they want to win. Shanks could defeat Mihawk in the end through sheer Haki, but that would require a serious effort on his part.
Zoro and Sanji are both powerful fighters, but throughout the One Piece series, it was emphasized that the swordsman is a much stronger fighter with greater ambition and status. Comparing their respective feats, it seems that Zoro surpasses Sanji even in the specific parameter of speed.
It was formerly wielded by Kozuki Oden and was passed on to Kozuki Hiyori, his daughter, after his death. This sword was then given to Roronoa Zoro in exchange for Shusui. While the sword is certainly not a Supreme Grade sword yet, it also hasn't blackened.
In the anime, Luffy managed to use it to cleanly cut through multiple swords with great ease despite his lack of skills. Like all of the swords crafted by members of the Kitetsu school, this one is said to be cursed and will bring a horrible death to all of its owners.
The highest grade swords are called Saijō Ō Wazamono. The swords belonging to this category are the rarest. It is followed by Ō Wazamono, Ryō Wazamono, and Wazamono.
It is evident that the only person capable of surpassing Roger is Luffy. Even though Luffy still has a lot to achieve, he is the only person who can transform the entire world.
Mihawk is said to be close to the same level as Shanks and is even dubbed as the greatest swordsman, so to say Luffy would defeat Mihawk is still debatable in the eyes of many fans.
