Spoiler: Jane and Michael finally did it, a deed the show depicted with a cartoon of them stepping into a rocket that blasted off into the stars.
Michael and Jane got married in Chapter Forty-Four. Jane and Michael have sex for the first time and Jane finally loses her virginity in Chapter Forty-Seven.
And initially, it seemed as if the show might go the previously tread fake-out route and let Jane stay a married virgin for at least one more episode. But Jane and Michael finally did the deed.
Adam Alvaro, played by Tyler Posey, is Jane Villanueva's first love on the CW show Jane the Virgin. He is introduced in season 4 where we learn that Jane and Adam once dated and even were considering getting married.
Rafael realizes that the one quality that Julie is lacking is love, and he reunites with Jane, his one true love. They have sex for the first time in Chapter Seventy-Four during their second relationship because during the first one Rafael respected Jane's desire to remain a virgin until marriage.
You can still call her Jane… but you can't call her a virgin anymore. After two-plus seasons of waiting, the heroine of The CW's Jane the Virgin finally handed in her V-card on Monday's episode, as Jane and her new husband Michael consummated their nuptials with a passionate night in their new home.
In Monday's "Chapter Forty-Seven," with Michael (Brett Dier) finally healed from his injuries, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) finally had sex with her new husband.
She has a five-year-old son named Mateo, with her boyfriend and baby-daddy, Rafael Solano. She grew up with her very young mother and Abuela, and loves her family deeply.
During the series finale, Petra was emotional over Jane and Rafael's happy ending and feared that she'd never find love again. However, at the wedding, JR returns and reunites with Petra and the duo get back together. Petra went from a villain on Jane the Virgin to a beloved character and I loved every second of it.
After much deliberation, Jane ultimately decided to wait to have sex for the first time until she married Michael.
After two seasons, a marriage, and a baby, Jane Gloriana Villanueva is a virgin no longer. It had to happen sometime, and on Monday, it finally did: Jane Gloriana Villanueva, 25-year-old married mother of Mateo, lost her virginity.
At the end of the season one, Jane and Michael's once happy relationship begins to crumble when Michael cheats on Jane with fellow doctor Kimberly Shaw. Jane then divorces Michael. Jane's younger sister Sydney Andrews moves into her apartment and begins to have an affair with Michael behind Jane's back.
After Jane learns that she is still married to Michael, she decides to get divorced from him so she can move on with Rafael. Luisa visits Rose in jail learning the reason she faked Michael's death and gave him amnesia. Rogelio has a hard time leaving Xo alone while he is filming the American version of his telenovela.
Main. Gina Rodriguez as Jane Gloriana Villanueva, a 23-year-old, religious Latina virgin who becomes pregnant after being artificially inseminated by mistake. At the time she was dating Michael Cordero, a Miami police officer.
It was the kind of emotional reveal that takes years to set up—and a real mouthful to explain. The short version: after years of indecision, the show's heroine, Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez), decided Michael Cordero (Brett Dier), whom she'd loved since the age of 21, was her soulmate.
They start dating after they believe the case is finally closed. However, in the season 4 finale, Jane Ramos becomes furious and breaks up with Petra after finding out she lied about her involvement in Anežka's death to protect her daughters Anna and Ellie.
Rafael originally set his sights on Petra to humiliate Lachlan and they ended up getting married – fairly quickly. Halfway through his cancer treatment Rafael realized what kind of life he was living and wanted to divorce Petra. His decision is cemented when he discovers that Petra cheated on him.
Petra realizes she is into women, too, when she has a dream about her criminal lawyer, Jane Ramos, kissing her. After the dream, she realizes that she has feelings for JR and goes to pursue a romantic relationship with her.
Things weren't going too well for Jane towards the end of season one – not only had she been made pregnant by a mix-up at the doctors, she's also been dumped by boyfriend Rafael who also happens to be the father of the accidental baby.
Jane Gloriana Villanueva
Jane is a 23-year-old, religious young Latina woman who becomes pregnant after being artificially inseminated by mistake.
Anna & Ellie Solano (portrayed by uncredited baby actors, seasons 2–3; Mia and Ella Allan, seasons 3–5) are Petra and Rafael's twin daughters. Unlike their half-brother, they grow up to be well behaved with good manners.
Then, Jane the Virgin underwent a three-year time jump after Michael apparently died and left Jane a widow—only to reappear at the end of Season 4 with amnesia, courtesy of perpetual villain Sin Rostro (Bridget Regan).
Despite the show's fluffy storylines, it also keeps it real, too. For every glowing moment, there's something that swoops in to threaten Jane's bliss. Jane practically cries in every single episode.
Jane Gloriana Villanueva got her happy ending. In the series finale of Jane the Virgin, not only did Jane get married to Rafael, but she revealed that her book's ending plays into the very show that fans have been watching for five seasons.
She was also given a fantastic happy ending thanks to the return of her ex-girlfriend JR (Rosario Dawson) to her life. Petra was allowed to invite anyone that she liked to the Jane and Rafael's rehearsal dinner as her plus one.
