Meanwhile, Maeve begins having casual sex with Jackson Marchetti before the two eventually start dating after Otis inadvertently gives Jackson advice on how to win Maeve over. When Maeve discovers that she is pregnant with Jackson's child, she asks Otis to accompany her to get an abortion.

Maeve does choose Otis over Isaac, however, she doesn't actually end up with anyone at the end of Sex Education season 3. She decides to go to the school for gifted and talented students in America, and the ending of the finale sees her saying goodbye to Otis.
However, in episode 4 of season 3, when Maeve and Isaac have a sexual encounter, things are different.

Maeve manages to give Butcher three vials of Temp-V or V-24, levelling the playing field by giving its user powers for 24 hours. But all in vain. Maeve gets more V-24 to Butcher and feeling dejected and defeated, the two get drunk and have sex, which left everyone shocked. That was not what viewers had expected coming.
However, Isaac later admits what he did to Maeve, causing her to ignore him for weeks as he broke her trust. The two later reconciled and eventually had sexual intercourse.
