Francis and Mary got married in The Consummation when she chose him over Bash.
Francis became attracted to Mary due to her fiery passion. These two not only had electric chemistry, but their conflict between love and duty was truly compelling. They were soulmates bound by their love for one another and by their crowns and kingdoms.
Trivia. Mary had been in a relationship with Francis and was married to him, Lola slept with him. Francis is only in love with Mary. He only slept with Lola because he had a broken heart because of Mary's decision to end their engagement.
Notes. Lady Lola and Prince Francis slept together believing they would never see each other again. Prince Francis married Queen Mary. Lola discovered that she was pregnant with Francis' child after their one night together in Paris.
In Left Behind, Francis comes to terms with his feelings for Mary knowing that he is in love with her, choosing to be with Mary and breaking things off with Olivia.

John Philip is the illegitimate son born to his father, King Francis, and his mother, Lady Lola. He has been given lands and titles, including Baron of Velay. He lost his father to a gang of Scottish assassins and his mother was decapitated not long after, making him an orphan. He is now being raised at French court.

Francis seeks revenge in Mercy. As Francis tries to find Mary's rapists, he decides to tell her the truth about how he was the one who killed Henry and of Narcisse blackmailing him. This strains their relationship even further and later on, Mary manages to kill her rapists with Conde's help.
In the episode In a Clearing, Francis dies from head trauma after he is brutally attacked while saving Mary from a gang of assassins.
In Scotland Mary met, fell in love with, and married Henry, Lord Darnley. She described him as "the lustiest and best-proportioned lang man" that she had ever met. They married in 1564 and soon afterwards Henry proved that his beauty was the limit of his positive characteristics.
Bash ends up married to Kenna as a result of his father's machinations but maintains a friendship with Mary.
Lady Lola Flemming Narcisse was a main character of Reign. She was the close friend of Mary Stuart and was one of Mary's ladies-in-waiting, along with Greer, Kenna, and Aylee. She is the mother of Francis's illegitimate son, Jean-Philippe, and Lord Narcisse's wife.
Baby Derant is the daughter of Isobel Derant, who died after giving birth to her. She was delivered by Mary Stuart, the Queen of Scotland.
After eighteen and a half years in captivity, Mary was found guilty of plotting to assassinate Elizabeth in 1586 and was beheaded the following year at Fotheringhay Castle. Mary's life and subsequent execution established her in popular culture as a romanticised historical character.
