Thor is one of the strongest beings in the Marvel Universe, with limitless strength to theoretically rival the Hulk. Combined with the strength and technology of T'Challa, Captain America, Iron Man, and She-Hulk, The Avengers could be Earth's strongest heroes.

He possesses a myriad of powers, both physical and mental, which often makes people forget that he is incredibly powerful when it comes to his basic physical strength. In fact, he is proven to be much stronger than the Hulk.
Many do so through clever tricks, but these characters in particular beat the Hulk at his own game. Call it luck, or maybe a plot device, but Spider-Man, Thanos, and more were able to fell Marvel's mightiest hero through brute force.
All in all said, Thor was a whole can defeat Hulk. A large part of that is being able to wield Mjolnir. Hulk cannot keep up with or match Thor when fighting with this might weapon. Hulk struggled to defeat in The Mighty Thor #385 even when using three of Thor's weaknesses against him.
Thor, the god of Thunder, was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the original Avengers. His power continues to grow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the Infinity Conflict storyline, Astral Regulator Thanos defeated The One Above All. This was achieved by using the powerful artifacts of creation known as the Astral Regulators, which The One Above All created to prevent the universes from colliding with each other and causing destruction.
Whether it was magic-wielding sorcerers like Doctor Strange or entire teams like The Avengers, almost nothing can get in Hulk's way when he's on a rampage. Though he has beaten the best of the best, only his biggest victories left readers stunned at the sheer power of Bruce Banner's alter ego.
Characters like Doctor Strange, Thor, and the Hulk are all more powerful than Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider is a powerful character, but he is not the most powerful character in the Marvel Universe.
So, there you have it. Thanos beats Hulk every time, with or without the Infinity Gauntlet. But World Breaker Hulk defeats Thanos. However, Thanos could beat the Hulk if he had the Gauntlet (He could wipe out the Universe).

Now, with everything even, the two had one more fight. Unfortunately for Bruce Banner, he learned a lesson. The God of Thunder has always held back. Beta Ray Bill tells Sif that every time they fought, the Odinson held back because he saw someone worth saving and showed him mercy.
Before he can defeat him, the Immortal Hulk is stopped by the Savage Hulk, who is being emotionally manipulated by the Leader. The Immortal Hulk is beheaded by a monstrous Leader and his heart is ripped out. His corpse, alongside Banner, is taken to the Below-Place by the Leader.
Rising to his feet, Hulk backhands the Son of Zeus, before pummeling the Greek god into submission as he begs Hulk to stop, trying to convince him that they're there to help. Namora covers her eyes, unable to watch any more of the brutal beating.
Weakness: ADAMANTIUM AND VIBRANIUM
Swords, knives, and more have been used against Hulk and almost none of them even leave a scratch or mark on him. However, with that said, there are two bladed weapons that can cut into Hulk's skin. Adamantium is something that can cause damage to Hulk.
The polished fighting style of Thanos proved too much for Hulk and his overall brutality and savagery. Hulk had the upper hand for all of two seconds due to the element of surprise before Thanos was able to finish the fight with a few quick blows.
Hulk is vastly stronger than Captain Marvel, and he would eventually win this fight. Captain Marvel has her energy projection going for her, but Hulk is vastly more durable and would be able to tank it with ease. The two fought in the comics, with Hulk coming out on the winning side.
Thanos Beat Hulk Because He Was A More Skilled Fighter
This physical power does show itself in Avengers: Infinity War's opening as Hulk has a moment where he does overpower Thanos, but the fight quickly goes in the other direction.
Beyond the fact that DC's heroes are overall more powerful, they have numerous advantages. From magic-users to Kryptonians to the Flash Family, Marvel can't match DC's power. Even Marvel's mutants would fall against a concerted assault from a team of Flashes.
Zeno from Dragon Ball Super couldn't just defeat Saitama but could put an end to everyone in the One Punch Man universe. He is the god of the multiverse and is so strong that he can wipe out the entire universe with a single thought. If Saitama infuriates Zeno, he can kill him without even raising his hand.
Wanda was considered to be the Nexus Being of Earth-616, but there were still forces far more powerful than her. Perhaps the most obvious character that was more powerful than the Scarlet Witch was the One Above All, who acted as the "god" of the Marvel universe.
