Ron Weasley has always been a beloved character in the Potterverse. As Harry Potter's best friend, he is possibly the second-most relevant character in the books.
The friendly relationship between the witch Luna Lovegood and wizard Harry Potter is one of the close friendships in the latter half of the Harry Potter series. Luna and Harry instantly became friends due to them feeling isolated from their other classmates at the beginning of the school year.
Hermione is a Muggle-born Gryffindor, who becomes best friends with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Rowling states that she was born on 19 September 1979 and she was nearly twelve when she first attended Hogwarts.
Ronald Bilius Weasley is a fictional character in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter fantasy novel series. His first appearance was in the first book of the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, as the best friend of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.

In fact, Ron is consistently weaker than Harry in the books and movies. While Ron is powerful enough to fight by Harry's side, it's pretty clear that Ron's spellcasting falls short of Harry's, and he would lose if they fought for real. Especially if he's using that broken wand of his, held together with Spellotape.

This fact is explicitly stated during his falling out with Ron in fourth year. When Hermione accuses him of missing Ron, Harry denies it, but admits to himself that while he "... liked Hermione very much, she just wasn't the same as Ron.

And of course, there's these three. Yes, the friendship between Harry, Ron and Hermione is at the core of the series.
Harry's surprised to discover how close Draco and Luna are; they became friends when she was held in the Manor, and Draco credits her for giving him hope for a better world and helping to change his life around.
So really, they weren't friends and it seemed as if they never would be. But then, in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the two started to work together and grow as friends and characters. They became the kind of characters who put their differences aside for their kids.
She began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on 1 September, 1992, and was sorted into Gryffindor House, like the rest of her family. She met three great friends at Hogwarts: Aquila Black, Maisie Cattermole, and Ophelia Brown.

From even the earlier films, we all knew Hermione Granger was meant for Ron Weasley. But before their ultimate expression of love in the final film, Hermione went to the Yule Ball with one of the Triwizard Tournament's champions, Viktor Krum (Stanislav Ianevski), in Goblet of Fire.
There were many things Snape actually liked, but probably only one he ever truly loved. Look no further than his Patronus, which remained a doe even after all those years. Though she left this world, Lily Evans never left Snape's heart. For many, it was proof that he had one to begin with.
Now, as firmly established, Snape was not the greatest fan of Harry, but that didn't mean that he ever stopped loving Lily. Dumbledore was surprised that Snape seemed to care for the boy. With a swish of his wand, Snape conjured up a Patronus – Lily's Patronus, a doe. 'Always,' he said.

Tom Marvolo Riddle started both Wizarding Wars, created the Death Eaters and killed Harry Potter's parents. We could go on – he was the most dangerous Dark wizard of all time – but we won't. His horrific achievements are well known.
Albus Dumbledore is the most powerful wizard in the Harry Potter. Dumbledore seemed like a lovely older man and the Headmaster of Hogwarts who only wanted the best for everyone when Harry first met him.
Ginny Weasley
The youngest Weasley child and only daughter wasn't just Harry Potter's love interest, she was an extremely capable witch who arguably had more power than her famous partner.
Hermione Granger is the "cleverest witch of [her] age" and the strongest Hogwarts student in the series.
When it comes to actual ability as a wizard, a case can certainly be made that Draco Malfoy is more talented than Harry. The only thing that Potter beats Draco at is his flying ability on a broomstick, but even then Draco pushes him all the way.
