King Thanos is an alternate-reality variant of Thanos from the Thanos solo run & Cosmic Ghost Rider storylines of Marvel Comics. He is a Thanos who defeated the Avengers and who is near victory in his genocidal quest.
At some point in his youth, a younger Thanos was sent to Earth by Mephisto where he fought the prehistoric Avengers where he was repelled. As an adult, Thanos augmented his physical strength and powers through his superior scientific knowledge using a combination of mysticism and cybernetic enhancements.
But after tracking Thanos “across a hundred galaxies,” Drax finally completes his mission to kill Thanos... in one of the most gruesome ways possible. In Annihilation #4 by Keith Giffen, Drax literally rips out Thanos's heart. Not even the Mad Titan can survive that.
As time went by, the heroes of Earth grew old and weak, but Thanos only grew stronger; his eternal quest to please Death leading him to kill almost every living thing in the known galaxy, and become the king of what had remained in his wake: nothing.
Thanos turned Hulk into his pet during the 'Thanos Wins' storyline. Following the battle against the Avengers, all of Hulk's former teammates were either dead or captured. Hulk was met with the same fate as Thanos captured him beneath his own palace, turned him into a servant, and referred to him as a dog.

That villain is, of course, Kang the Conqueror, who's set to be the Avengers' next opponent in the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. And while Thanos is certainly a hard act to follow, Kang may be a far greater threat than the Mad Titan ever was.
It didn't stop there, he eventually absorbed the Living Tribunal, Eternity, and Infinity, and in the end, he even managed to take down the One-Above-All. As far as Thano's strongest forms are discussed, Astral Regulator Thanos is by far the strongest version of him due to having reality-breaking potential.
"He's aware of Stark from the original Battle of New York as the person who undid the plan," said Russo about Thanos knowing Stark. The makers also explained the connection between Stark and Thanos in regards to what they want to achieve: a path for a better future.
Iron-Man. Of course, this is the man who is actually able to defeat Thanos in the end, sacrificing himself in order to kill him. He loses his own life to do that, proving just how unselfish he is at his core, with Iron-Man's power and strength of character being the overwhelming power for him.
In the aftermath of his failure, Thor had a new-found determination to kill Thanos and undo the Snap. The remaining Avengers converged on the Titan's home to find him wounded and the Infinity Stones destroyed. Seeking vengeance, Thor raised Stormbreaker and, with one fell swoop, beheaded Thanos.
As mighty as they are, neither Thanos nor Superman is immortal. Both have been killed in the past, meaning neither is unbeatable. However, Thanos would need an ironclad plan to trap and defeat the Man of Steel, because if it comes down to plain old fisticuffs, Superman is definitely going to win.
Bigger than his enemies, bigger than his family, bigger than any other cosmic threat, Thanos's greatest weakness will always be himself. We've discussed his ego previously, but it's his insecurities about his own worthiness that will ever prove to be his downfall.
The One Above All was one of the many victims of Thanos in his eternal quest to please Death. He was obliterated along his fellow Celestials by Thanos when he stabbed Black Bolt to death in order to use his destructive voice as weapon.
Don't get me wrong, Thanos is incapable of killing Ghost Rider, but he can outsmart, outrun, and overpower him in a direct confrontation. As we've mentioned, the only thing that Ghost Rider has going for him is his Penance Stare, which sadly doesn't work on Thanos.
While Thanos is an Eternal and has the standard powers of super-strength, agility, regeneration, immortality, and more, Adam Warlock takes the upper hand. He can be killed, but he resurrects to be stronger every time.

Kang is more powerful than Thanos
Thanos certainly presented the Avengers with a challenge, and his power continued to grow as he amassed the various infinity stones. Kang, though, seems to have almost limitless power once he can access even one aspect of his hyperadvanced technology.
Dormammu. One established MCU villain who is more powerful than Thanos is Doctor Strange's Dormammu, who could easily return as an antagonist in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In his own world, the Lord of the Dark Dimension is nearly unbeatable.
Based on the analysis of powers, speed, strength, durability, and combat, we can safely say that Odin is stronger than Thanos and outmatches him in almost every aspect. Thanos might be among the most feared villains in the Marvel Universe, but he comes nowhere near when compared to All-Father Odin.
Upon learning that Annihilus wanted to destroy all life in both the positive and negative matter universes, Thanos tried to release Galactus. Most unfortunately, Drax showed up and ripped out Thanos's heart, killing him.
Kang has arrived. At Comic-Con 2022, Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige made official what many fans had been theorizing for some time: Kang the Conqueror is the MCU's next Thanos-like villain.
