At the end of the day, none of the Hashira could've defeated Akaza – even though a few of them could've succeeded in decapitating him. Akaza proved himself to be too strong to be dragged into sunlight, meaning there'd be no way for any of the Hashira to kill him.
1) Gyomei Himejima
The Stone Pillar, Gyomei Himejima, is the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps.
Gyomei is stronger and faster overall, but Akaza's weird cockroach like tenacity can drag the fight into an attrition battle in which case, it depends on how close to sunrise they fight.
Gyomei would release A LOT of fighting spirit so Akaza would be able to increase his own strength/speed to match Gyomei's level. The point is, without Selfess State, Gyomei can't beat Akaza.
He would be disoriented by the shockwaves created by Akaza's blows. Tengen has anti-demon bombs that can disorient them for a short period of time, but this wouldn't be an effective strategy when Akaza uses Compass Needle, which allows him to accurately pinpoint and aim for his opponent's weak spots.

Akaza fatally wounding the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.
1. Gyomei Himejima. Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, is the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer corps in terms of strength and swordsmanship. He is the only person who uses spiked flails and an axe instead of standard swords to kill demons.
Yoriichi defeated Muzan in an instant, but he had a question for him before eliminating him, which allowed Muzan to escape.
Gyomei is currently the strongest Hashira.
In conclusion, Nezuko cannot beat Akaza in Demon Slayer. In terms of power, physical abilities, regeneration rate and overall combat ability, Akaza is far superior compared to Nezuko.
Tengen Uzui
He is the fastest Hashira, and the second physically strongest. Obviously, then, Tengen Uzui is rather proud. He is demanding, fussy, boastful, and prone to selfishness. But he is also ultimately kind and caring, with great love for his three wives as well as the other Hashira.
Gyomei's raw power and his long-range weapon would be more than enough to keep Nezuko at bay, and he could defeat her without struggling too much.
Demon Slayer's Tengen Uzui is considered to be one of the weakest Hashira due to almost losing this fight, but the fact is that Tengen only looks weak when compared to the most overpowered Hashira.
After awakening his demon slayer mark, Giyu greatly overpowers Akaza. However, he is able to keep up with the fight only because of Tanjiro. If Giyu had soloed against Akaza, he would have died.
Upper-Rank Two: Doma
Kanao Tsuyuri and Inosuke then teamed up to fight, but were no match for him until the 37 kilograms of Wisteria poison he'd inadvertently ingested by consuming Shinobu began to melt his body.
It became clear when he defeated the Upper 5, Gyokko, single handedly. Even after taking huge damage from poison, Tokito overpowers Gyokko with his signature Mist Breathing.
Tanjuro Kamado was the name of Tanjiro Kamado's father. He passed away before the event of the main story of the Demon Slayer. It is not mentioned how long Tanjuro had passed before the story, but in several flashback scenes, we can see him interacting with a younger Tanjiro.
The warrior Muzan feared was a swordsman named Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Yoriichi was the only slayer before Tanjiro who came close to killing Muzan, and the flashback of their fight occurred in Chapter 187.
Rengoku's Unwavering Will Was His Greatest Weakness
Since he believes it is his responsibility as someone strong to protect those weaker than him, he will make sure he does just that. Rengoku sees any mission through to the very end, even at the cost of his life.
Akaza. Because of his desire to become stronger and Doma's strength allowing him to surpass himself to become Upper Two, Akaza harboured an intense hatred of Doma.
Over a century ago, Akaza was a human by the name of Hakuji before being turned into a Demon personally by Muzan.
