Hulk has traditionally been seen as the strongest Avenger physically — and for good reason, though he's been subdued by both Iron Man and Thor.
Cyclops' brother, Havok, is one of the few Marvel superheroes who can defeat the Hulk in a fair fight. Alex Summers aka Havok may not be as popular as his more famous brother, but he is easily one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe.
Captain America is physically stronger than Iron Man, whether with his suit or not. If they both entered a ring-to-box hand-to-hand combat, Captain America would destroy Iron Man in that fight.
Apocalypse. Apocalypse makes his way into this position on the list because he is technically stronger than the Hulk. He also has a multitude of other abilities, including telepathy, telekinesis, and shapeshifting.
Whether it was magic-wielding sorcerers like Doctor Strange or entire teams like The Avengers, almost nothing can get in Hulk's way when he's on a rampage. Though he has beaten the best of the best, only his biggest victories left readers stunned at the sheer power of Bruce Banner's alter ego.
Out of all the superheroes, Superman is the only one who has squared off the Hulk multiple times. The first time they met, Superman knocked him with patience. Similarly, when they met for the second time, Superman defeated him with just a kick.
Hulk. It's impossible to have a conversation about who the strongest Avenger is without at least mentioning the Incredible Hulk. This enormous green rage monster is the physical embodiment of brute strength, capable of storming through any obstacle in his path and going toe-to-toe with even the most formidable enemies.
Given his mastery of the magical arts, it would make Doctor Fate a tough opponent for Iron Man, whose technology-based weaponry would be ineffective against his magical defenses. Moreover, with his vast mystical powers and abilities, Doctor Fate could quickly neutralize Tony Stark and take him down in battle.
Iron Man was basically powerless against the God of Thunder. Thor stopped short of beating Iron Man to death, but he made sure that Iron Man knew that there was nothing he could do to Thor if Thor pressed the issue.
Iron-Man. Of course, this is the man who is actually able to defeat Thanos in the end, sacrificing himself in order to kill him. He loses his own life to do that, proving just how unselfish he is at his core, with Iron-Man's power and strength of character being the overwhelming power for him.
Simply put Thor can best Hulk in a fight because he wields Mjolnir and is a god. Complexly said, Hulk can't defeat a divine god with a mighty hammer that lets him blast energy beams, fly, and summon a kinds of weather.
Marvel fans know that Spider-Man is a strong superhero, but the company has just confirmed that Peter Parker is strong enough to defeat the Incredible Hulk in a one-on-one brawl.
So, there you have it. Thanos beats Hulk every time, with or without the Infinity Gauntlet. But World Breaker Hulk defeats Thanos. However, Thanos could beat the Hulk if he had the Gauntlet (He could wipe out the Universe).
Thor, the god of Thunder, was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the original Avengers. His power continues to grow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Weakness: ADAMANTIUM AND VIBRANIUM
Swords, knives, and more have been used against Hulk and almost none of them even leave a scratch or mark on him. However, with that said, there are two bladed weapons that can cut into Hulk's skin. Adamantium is something that can cause damage to Hulk.
His strength increased as more and more energy from an alternate universe was channeled into him, giving the Hulk greater power that could destroy the universe. Can channel enough energy to destroy two universes.
The Incredible Hulk is one of Marvel's most powerful heroes, but other strong characters like Thanos and Spider-Man have actually defeated him.
Before he can defeat him, the Immortal Hulk is stopped by the Savage Hulk, who is being emotionally manipulated by the Leader. The Immortal Hulk is beheaded by a monstrous Leader and his heart is ripped out. His corpse, alongside Banner, is taken to the Below-Place by the Leader.
Hulk is vastly stronger than Captain Marvel, and he would eventually win this fight. Captain Marvel has her energy projection going for her, but Hulk is vastly more durable and would be able to tank it with ease. The two fought in the comics, with Hulk coming out on the winning side.
Thanos Beat Hulk Because He Was A More Skilled Fighter
This physical power does show itself in Avengers: Infinity War's opening as Hulk has a moment where he does overpower Thanos, but the fight quickly goes in the other direction.
